Q: I need to scan really small 2D barcodes off computer equipment, will this can very small 2D barcodes ???

I’ve never tested how small a code this can read, what sort of size do you plan on using?.

Q: Is it possible to connect 2 devices to one iPad or to one Apple laptop?

Q: Does this have a point to attach a lanyard or a wrist strap?

No there is no connection point
