Safe for loaches
I tried this because of its promotion of being safe with Loaches. But actually use it on all my tanks. And have done since I started the hobby 4 years ago.I find it effective and it has no negative impact on the fish. I use it in conjuction with Esha Exit as a good all round treatment for a whole host of diseases, parasites, fungal and bacterial infections. It takes the guess work out of diagnosing the issue correctly as it covers all bases when used as a double treatment (Esha 2000 and Esha Exit). You can also extend treatment safely if the issue isn't resolved after the initial 3 day treatment. It can be used again if a different issue arises after the treatment. You can also use Esha GDEX at the same time as the other 2 treatments to cover Gill flukes as well.It does discolour the water (brown with esha 2000, green if used with Esha exit) but this disappears once treatment has stopped and can be speeded up by doing a water change at the end of treatment (no maintenance should be done during treatment and remove all carbon while treating).Esha is my go to for all treatments in my tanks. They have a wide range of different liquids for different treatments and all my fish have survived the dosing of the tank, including all my Clown and yoyo loaches who are always my biggest worry with their imperceptible scales
