1 x 500ml Satin White Heat Resistant Wall Paint. Wood Burner Stove Alcove. Brick, Concrete, Plaster, Cement Board, Rendering, Metal, Timber etc.

Very easy to apply and the paint spreads and covers very well indeed. I used this to paint the base tiles upon which my multi fuel burner sits. A very high quality product and highly recommended for any fireplace decoration work.

Excellent stuff. Just what I needed and may be back for more in the future. I don't know why the person who left a review before about it been smelly, It just smells like paint? :sIt seems to last for ages I've done a couple of coats of a big surface and still have some left. It's easy to apply and easy to correct if you haven't covered somewhere properly as the paint is quite thin so easy to go over areas as the paint hasn't started to dry yet. My only issue was with the dry time it took 7-8 hours to be able to touch it without it feeling sticky. This is not a huge issue though plus it's ideal excuse to take a break from painting for the day ha :)

Ive been renovating my kitchen cupboards as the melamine coating had come away from a lot of the cupboard doors due to age & heat. So after stripping off the melamine & preparing the MDF doors i'd been looking for a heatproof white satin paint to use on the ones near a heat source & Dulux satinwood in white on the rest. This paint is brilliant! Although its quite a thin paint it gives very good coverage & brushes on so well, leaving virtually no brush marks. In my view for a solvent based paint it dries quite quickly too. I've been very pleased with the appearance of this paint alongside the Dulux & wouldn't hesitate to use this paint again.

Easy to apply and lovely creamy white

Dont bother with this.It was fine to paint on the walls,consistency was fine and it covered the old yellow marks on the walls.However the moment I put the fire in my stove on,within few hours the wall was yellow again.And it smelled so bad we had to keep the doors open until we felt it was safe to breathe.Just awful.Dont waste your money.

Excellent product. I used this on Hardibacker 12mm cement board around my multi-fuel stove and it works a treat. It goes on best with a roller as the paint is quite thick.

It is not heat resistant near a chimney, it has stained a brownish colour.
