Excellent and beautiful jars, but pricey
These are the absolute best jars for storing dry pantry items. (The fours stars are due to price and the inadequate packing by Amazon). I bought several for beans, grains, etc. Some did arrive broken, and after having two of them replaced twice due to arriving shattered, I sought the same jars elsewhere. Bed Bath and Beyond sells the same jars for nearly half the price, and they have much better packing so the jars don't break. Sorry Amazon, but I got the rest of my jars from them.

I put sugar and flour in the containers. They are very air tight.
