Great product for the “home” user.I’m a retired steelworker and still plug away for fun and my wife is a metal sculptress and it works for us.Love that it’s made from brass and it is $100 cheaper than a Victor so it’s ideal for use in our hobby shop.If it leaks, don’t be an idiot And just tighten the flow indicator into its proper place and torque!

This regulator works great for my mig 200 5 in one mig welder. The quality is very good and the gages are easy to read. I loke the floating ball design that is easy to see. Overall this regulator is a great value for the price.

HAVING TROUBLE HOOKING UP THE GAS HOSE FITTING WILL ADVISE THE UNIT SEEMSFINE FOR MY HOME GARAGE.

Works good w/ longer hose

I have a Hobart Handler 180 Mig Welder. I moved about 7 years ago and had to wait for a garage renovation with a new workshop before I could hook it up. I finally had a need to use it, to weld a broken frame on my ATV snowplow and I couldn't find the regulator. Somehow I lost it in the move or the 7-year waiting period.I ordered this one because it seemed to have everything I needed and looked like a better setup. I never really liked the original valve because it used a barb connector and hose clamp. I know the Argon gas is delivered at low pressure, it's non-flammable and non-explosive, and a clamp is sufficient, but I still didn't like it.I read reviews and saw several people claiming that you couldn't connect the hose to the regulator without cutting the end off and using the barb. Based on the pictures I couldn't see why that would be so I went ahead with the order. To all the people who can't get the hose connected, you are either missing a piece, got the wrong piece, or don't realize that you take the barb out of it's adapter and use the adapter to connect the hose. If you're reading this review then let me assure you, the hose connects to the regulator if you use the adapter correctly.The valve worked flawlessly for my snowplow project. I wish I could say the same for my welding skills. The 7 years of waiting didn't do my skills any favors.

Replaced my Victor unit with this one after it developed a leak. I hooked up this new one and pressurized it and sprayed it down with a soapy solution and don't find any leaks as claimed by many 1 star reviews. Let's hope it lasts for a long time.

So far it works as it should
