Hanging Flame light - Great for Halloween Decoration - NEW

I'm not gonna say this is the greatest thing around or you cant find better, but it isn't that bad. I used two in my outdoor H-Day display and it got lots of great reviews from the kids who were surprised it wasn't hot to the touch. True, what's the praise worth from kids who put their hand directly into faux flames and then act surprised they didn't get burnt. This actually happened a bunch of times that I witnessed. It didn't look all that great to me visually, but to the trick or treaters, it was a good item. Who's your audience? But it worked straight out of the box in a light outdoor breeze with no hiccups. Also the fan (computer fan, I think) wasn't too loud and with some background noise, it wasn't perceptible at all. Is it cheap quality? Sure, no doubt, but it did work for a solid 4 hours of trick or treating mayhem. The only issue (pretty minor) is the little plastic light bulb lens cover had detached during shipping. A couple of drops of super glue fixed that. So if you need a cheap faux flame fill-in item this could work for you. I am reasonably satisfied with the purchase.

My wife bought this light to build an indoor "campfire" for her summer school program. The fabric flames aren't as large or impressive as pictured, but the item worked to make a convincing prop. She cut a hole in the bottom of a 5-gallon pail, set the light on top, and surrounded it with firewood. She says that the kids are big fans of it and she doesn't regret the purchase, but thought it should have cost $10 less.

I don't use it that often, I really bought it to just hang in my room and pretend its a real brazier. On arrival, one of the lights didn't work. If this happens to you, pull the light out, bend the three pegs on the bottom CAREFULLY outward. I think that they just didn't like up right with connections in the ports, worked fine after some bending and putting the light back in.

Our theater company has borrowed two of these items a couple of times for a fireplace effect. I was pleased to find one for sale that we could own and use at our convenience. The product, purchased through your Warehouse Deals storefront, arrived quickly and seemed to work fine. However, we plugged it in at the theater yesterday and within five minutes it stopped completely and cannot be restarted. We open on Friday. I paid over $20 for this item. And it appears from your return policy that I am simply out of luck. I will not buy from Warehouse Deals program again.

This item looks great! It performs exactly as you would expect and gives a great flame effect for entryways, outdoor porches, etc. Great for Halloween events or decorations. I would have posted a five-star review, but I bought two of these and one stopped working with less than one month of semi-nightly use.

Already reviewed and did not get a response.. The unit did not work on arrival. light out, fan not working. Found wire off lamp holder. If I sent it back I would not have had it for Halloween night . I am able to repair things so i replaced wire and wired in to plug in power supplies to power fan and lights. (Voiding any warranty ) If I could not do these things I would have just sent it back.

Here's the problem. We needed 3 for a special effect. We ended up ordering 6 of these, all but 1 did not work. 1 actually smoked! (Not in a good way) Amazon immediately refunded our purchase and shipping. We ordered 3 more, none of these worked. We had to re-wire them ourselves as it is too easy for the lights to Lose contact. Once working, the effect was great!...and I could not have built it for less. The manufacturer needs to revisit the design.

I had two of these hanging on my balcony and they looked really neat. I loved the way the fan motor sounded a little like fire burning in a cauldron.I had them on every night in October and until last night and they worked great!
