ICUP National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Griswold Moose Mug, 8 oz, Clear

A great Christmas present for anyone who loves the movie. Very nice quality and was delivered quickly!

I don't often veer towards "Officially Licensed" merchandise, but with subpar knockoffs rampant, I found the details and build of these National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Moose Mugs to be a choice of one in channeling either my inner Clark Griswold or Cousin Eddie.Observations: (1) Their "moose face" is top shelf, with a protruding snout, soft eyes, and symmetrical antlers. (2) They're thick glass -- non-licensed versions paradoxically boast of an acrylic build, which suit a child's drink receptacle. (3) They're 8 ounces, and scaled to how they appear in the movie; others max out at an undersized 4.5 ounces. (4) While I sip eggnog in homage to Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid, they also mimic the 8-ounce pour of high ABV craft beer. (5) Sadly, the seller affixed the shipping label to the product box -- communicate with them in advance if gifting.To acquire the iconic, sometimes we have to ante up: These aren't cheap, but if you're a stickler for details, then they're still a great value. - (Was this review of use? Bought for my husband as a birthday gift since he loves the movie. He just started liking egg nog the last few years and when I saw a friend with one, I knew I had to find one for my husband. He was so happy and surprised when he opened it... now he needs to go find some egg nog so he can use it!I ordered this one because it's glass. The downside is it's hand wash only.

They had this packaged so nicely. It is like the pic. and looks exactly like the movie version. There were others that looked off..like the nose was small and the eyes bulgy. But this does have the big nose and good antlers on him. My daughters gonna love it!! Cheers!!

This was the perfect gift for my boyfriend for Christmas! Christmas vacation is my boyfriends favorite movie and he absolutely loved it. It will be his Christmas coffee cup every year now! 🥰

It’s a Christmas vacation glass mug, opposed to the acrylic or plastic ones, so it’s great for any fan of the movie. I bought it for my husband and I order a few from time to time and will do so until he has a full set.

Purchased two of these for the Christmas Vacation and Egg-Nog loving members of our family. What a hit!The glasses themselves are very solid and came packaged well. They have now been used through 3 holiday seasons and are holding up perfectly! They do a great job serving up the Egg Nog, and I should note that their users get sloppy and rough as the night goes on. Still no chips or cracks! Not sure how they would do in the dishwasher - we always handwash them. When not in use, we put back in the packaging and store with the holiday decorations.The reason I am giving 4 stars is because the description is not accurate. These glasses do not hold 8 ounces. I can honestly say that I never even paid attention to that part when purchasing these. I was bought hoping they would be JUST like the ones in the movie, and they are! It's just that some people may be buying these because they claim to hold 8 ounces, so please be aware that they really hold only about half of that amount.Please see the included picture that shows these glasses to scale.

Just when you thought eggnog couldn’t get any better!! Made our Christmas!

I bought this for my Fiancees Christmas, as his favourite movie is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. I was delighted when I opened the package to find the mug, a windup walking santa (styled as the cartoon santa from the start of the movie) and the Santa hat that Chevy chase wears in the movie! The hat was a touch small for my fiancee but we used it a a decoration instead.The mug is a great replica and feels really sturdy. Its definitely worth the price, to me.
