Back in the day Used to have the parachute riggers fabricate these from web....6” long with belt loops. This is a great replacement.Work it for a bit initially to loosen it up.I disregard the snap and ensure an inch of Velcro keeper strap hangs below... for me easier to find and pull.Update: problem emerged as the gun settled in: the lip of the slide around the forward of the ejection port gets hung up... I carry a S&W .45 shield. Perhaps widen one of the pads by .5 inch?Parafrog 9953

For a simple pancake style holster that is economical and good quality, this fits the bill. I carry two different Ruger models and one Beretta. Holster works well with all of them. As with many pancakes, putting the firearm back in while wearing it can be a minor challenge, but I think as it gets used more that will ease.

the Holster was exactly what I wanted Except upon opening the plastic bag I found the thumb snap strap broken off as tho no quality check was performed I was able to superglue the thumb release to the strap and hope it will work for a while I'll just have to be careful if I run. Perhaps a brand name might have been a better choice. It was cheap and you get what you pay for I see.

Use to conceal when wearing a sport jacket at work.

It works and sizes to many sidearms.. However I cannot recommend this for every day open or conceal carry. It leaves the weapon too exposed and easy to remove. The best use for this type holster is range work actually. Quick draw practice etc.
