Not 100% Effective At Blocking Out The Light
These do not completely block out the light, like some others do. We got the lighter gray color. Most black out curtains have a canvas like backing on them that does most of the light blocking, these do not. They are fabric on both sides, with nothing in between, but are softer and look nice. This picture is of them during 11am on a partly sunny day, with a closed set of blinds behind them. We haven’t decided if we’ll return then for another brand yet. I bought a pair from another brand years ago that completely blocked out the sun, 100% but we moved and have different size windows than they offter them for, and a different color scheme.

I just received mine and wow wow wow, they are amazing. I will update this after we hang them in my daughters room, but I needed to leave a review now because I am just so impressed! They were delivered quickly (2 days post ordering). These curtains feel AMAZING. Quality curtains are not cheap, and these curtains feel like they cost way more then $27. They are thick, not too heavy, and feel like silk without the shine. I held it up over my window and it blocked out all the light, so I'm excited to hang them properly and see how well they really work. I bought the light grey and these curtains are gorgeous (house is decorated in neutrals) so these compliment our look well. Will post an update when they are hung as well, but I would absolute recommend these curtains for now!

Excellent blackout. Excellent price.
I used these for the bedroom because we have nigh shift workers in the house. These are fantastic. As soon as I put them up I noticed the difference, they are much better than the other 'blackout' curtains we paid twice as much for. Fully blocked the light and also dampened the outside noise noticeably. I highly recommend these.

Got the navy blue.... light still faintly shines through. What part of "blackout" does the maker not understand? :-( Nice fabric though!!!
