Good headphones but with a couple of poor design decisions.
Despite the premium price, the product isn't quite as effortless as I would like due to a couple of poor design decisions.Firstly, the charging LED on the inductive charging station is really poorly positioned: it's right next to where the USB cable plugs in, but of course you are going to want the cable to hang down towards the plug, which means that for the vast majority of people the cable (and hence the LED) is facing away from you. Think about it: on a bedside table, how likely is it that a trailing cable going down to a plug is going to be facing you? Most of the time the cable faces the wall! And so does the LED, which means you can't see if the headphones are charging.Secondly, it's actually quite difficult to persuade the charger to work through the fabric (and this is the thinner Breeze fabric), the LED will blink green for a few seconds, then blink red to say that the item is incorrectly positioned for charging. In the end it's just easier to pull the module out slightly and place it directly on the charger. Then it charges fine, but it's not as effortless as the manual suggests. The headphones themselves are pretty good for their purpose and reasonably comfortable (there some occasional discomfort from the plastic parts against the ears, but I can't imagine any other headphone is going to improve on this design for side-sleepers). I am happy with the purchase but I do wish a little more thought had gone inductive charger.Battery life seems good, and the headphones are easy enough to operate, even at 4 am when you are half asleep. The fact that there are no wires is really important and is what makes these headphones so good for sleeping with. I use them with the NatureSpace app to play the sound of rolling waves to lull me back to sleep when I wake up in the middle of the night, and for that purpose they are wonderful.

Great item - shame about the seller
I have used Sleepphones for years now and they are great. Expensive. But do exactly what they set out to do. My connection broke on my current set, and rather than replace the battery I decided to opt for a new set with the induction charging unit. Great in theory. I am sure they work fine, except the item I received did not charge and was faulty so I sent back to Digital Jigsaw. I had to pay the postage - which I was unhappy about as I had purchased with Prime. However, the details on the refund note stated that postage would be returned when product received and reason for return verified. As I had not heard from seller I contacted requesting status of refund, and was asked to provide proof of postage as they had not received the item. I had difficulty copying the receipt and attaching to communication and whilst trying to sort this I received a notification from seller stating that they had found the item. Refund was authorised. However, to date I Have still not received any compensation from them for the postage costs. Be aware of this seller. I would not purchase from them again. The 2 star is for the seller not the product. I believe that had I not contacted the seller I would not have received the refund for the faulty item.

The answer to a side sleeper’s prayer ...........
After months of deliberation I have FINALLY purchased my SleepPhones.I opted for the ‘Breeze’ headband in Medium and the ‘Effortless’ induction charging pad.I hadn’t expected there to be so much stretch in the fabric and wonder if the small size might have worked a little better for me. As other reviewers have said (yes, I did a lot of research first), the earphone pads DO move about in the headband and when turning from side to side when in bed, they do require a bit of manipulation to keep over my ears. The SleepPhones arrived in a lovely little tin with a small card detailing ‘free sleep music’. The info took me to the US website where the instructions to download to my iPod or MP3 player seemed a bit out of touch so didn’t bother with that. I have found a great app where I can buy sounds I like or use their free ones, together with a timer with fade out.My last comment has been echoed by many reviewers - on the induction charger why on earth have the charging indicator light at what is really the back of the unit where the lead fits into it? You have to position the unit with the lead showing at the front in order to see the light! Bonkers and really poor design in my opinion.Overall I do feel that SleepPhones are the best option for me and am pleased I finally bought them. Much preferred to all types of ear plugs I have tried. As a side sleeper they really are superbly comfortable.

Worth the money
If you’ve tried other headbands to sleep, these are by far the best. The battery pack is flexible so fits your head, the speakers are super thin but give good sound. There’s no annoying voice announcements when the battery fades. It’s comfortable and the band isn’t too thick.Charging is wireless and whilst it’s not super simple, if you move the label on the inside, it is pretty straight forward.

The price is a bit of a joke
This item is sold at a premium price but it is like a workshop prototype which has been cobbled together at somebody's kitchen table. My immediate response was to send it back for a refund but I looked again the following day and eventually got it working. The sound is very good and it is comfortable to wear but the way it is all put together is like something you would win at a fairground lucky dip. In terms of value for money, I really feel that I have been robbed of around £100.

The best sleep phones I have found but could be better
Definitely the best sleep phones, that I have had as I am a side sleeper. The sound is really good as long as you place them correctly on your ears. The only thing that I would complain about is that the head band slides about and the front part it too big and covers my eyes.
