Really really good!
These mics are really really good! Who says you have to pay thousands for a good drum mic set. I have used these in a studio and in a live sound setting and both worked great :) Thanks Red5 and amazon for supplying!

Excellent starter drum mic set
I have been using these mics for the last six months for recording drums on some recordings of my band. For a started set, I couldn't have asked for much more. I have achieved very professional sounding results.Each indiviudual mic is of a very respectable quality, both physically robust and great sounding. The tom clips work really well (better on some drum kits than others) and conveniently negate the need for carrying round lots of stands. I even tried it on under snare, and the clip worked just fine.They are very well packaged in a sturdy flight-case.I have recently upgraded to more high end mics (Sennheisers, Beyer and Oktavas), and yes, there is a noticeable difference in sound quality, but each mic costs roughly the same price as this set. For the money, it cannot be faulted.

Very good value for money!!
Several years ago I bought a set of Red Audio mics the same as these ones and, oh boy was I surprised.To be honest I didn't expect much for the price. I WAS WRONG!These sound great.I have used all of them in the studio and for live work too.Out of the whole set I would say that the Bass drum mic and the condenser mics easily rival the more expensive microphones. They're also as tough as nails. Great flight case too! I've also used the bass drum mic and clip on the bass drum hoop instead of a stand which I wouldn't recommend.So if you want value for money and want a cracking set of mics, well, what are you waiting for??Cheers Red Audio!!!!!!!!!!!!!
