Result Core Rain Suit

On reading other reviews, I ordered A medium when I'm normally a large, but the jacket was a perfect fit over my clothing, the trousers also fitted spot on, but tore from the pocket slot the first time I went to wear them, there is no reinforcing around this area, so very much a weak point. I requested a refund label, and sent it back, planning on ordering another suit in case I'd just been unlucky. After a good three weeks, I heard nothing, so contacted the seller and was issued a refund for the cost price, but not the return postage, not good enough I'm afraid, firstly I shouldn't have had to chase my refund, and secondly, as the item was defective, I shouldn't have had to pay for the return postage, so a customer lost here!!

I only needed something cheap and cheerful to keep me from getting drenched walking the dog, and this set does the job admirably. I've been out in heavy rain and come in completely dry under the rain suit. Mostly I just wear the jacket and it fits well, has tons of pocket room, and is surprisingly warm on breezy days. It has poppers as well as a zip up the front so you can seal it up pretty well. The hood does the job but won't win any fashion contests, and the sleeves have additional elasticated wristbands inside the main sleeve to keep you all sealed up. I went for a medium and it fits fine over just a t-shirt or if I need to put on a fleece as well, still good. Overall very good for the very low price!

Material is paper thin and half of one trouser leg ripped after one day of use getting to and from work.Material is not waterproof. I found (despite zipping up fully and tucking in, inside was damp as were my clothes underneath.Very cheaply made, not durable and not fit for purpose.Spend a little extra and buy something higher quality.I sent the item back for a refund after Amazon approved the return. Item sent recorded delivery, confirmed delivery with Royal Mail just under two weeks ago (I've been patient) but I had to contact Amazon to push the refund through today.Seller was going to drag it out and obviously did not want to issue the refund, despite sending the item back.

It's wider than I expected. Length of the coat, sleeves and legs very good though, really covers underneath clothing well, very good against rain. I Like the fitting around the wrist, stops the rain from soaking edges of your sleeves. Didn't expect too much in terms of warmth,, but it's quite good at keeping the warmth in providing you have layers underneath. I'm quite impressed how wind proof it is, really tested it on a blowy night, works well! Only downside, if you have to do anything that involves exercise, you get sweaty very quickly, as its not breathable.. But I recommend it on any stormy day that you need to stand or walk about outside. Overall, very pleased with it.

I purchased the waterproof rain suit in February and today (23 May) was the first time I have worn it in real "waterproofs" weather. Unfortunately they're not waterproof. Both knees front and back and both thighs totally soaked after removing the trousers. Also round the top of my shirt area is wet through even though the jacket was fully done up. I also contacted Amazon and then the supplier but they have been useless and not even replied. OK,this may be due to the covid situation but they are still selling but giving no response to my complaint other than an automated response.

Good size and feels good quality, better than a lot of the more expensive ones I had looked at in local outdoors shops. Trousers are a little long for me but I am a short woman, they would probably be the right length for most men.

This kept me nice and dry during a day of non-stop rain at a music festival. Unfortunately the trousers split from the pocket right down the leg on day 2. If I were to buy these again I would avoid using the pocket holes and keep my things in a bum bag.

The quality is good and the price fair, but the product doesn't match the seller's size chat. I ordered medium size, and medium was delivered, but the jacket chest and girth is enormous, as if designed for an obese person, also it's too short. If on a rainy day I wear only the jacket to pop to the local Co-op, my backside would get drenched. I know short jackets are the latest mens trend, but being an oldie this fashion is ridiculous in rainwear.
