These are not bad gloves. Originally got them back in 2013 because my welding instructor recommended that we use tig gloves to do oxy-acetylene welding. They are too thin to resist all the heat coming off of the metal and from the flames of the torch so I just used some medium duty stick welding gloves instead. Even when I actually tig welded, the heat would still get to the point where it was unbearable to keep going without getting another filler rod. If you want these to last for a while, don't handle metal with sharp edges too much. It slices right through the gloves.

Excellent TIG gloves
I needed replacement TIG gloves. The ones I've been using are more suited for stick or MIG welding and were too bulky for TIG welding. I searched around and found these gloves. I read the reviews and decided to purchase these, glad I did! They are light weight, yet well constructed. I have the precise control now when feeding my filler rod, plus I can control the torch much better with these gloves.

Great feeling gloves, but terrible longevity.
These gloves are great and allow superior dexterity. However, the pinky is not covered by leather on the backside, which is exactly where my gloves developed a hole in on my filler hand. The cloth material could not handle the heat from 150 amps AC, and I've had to cover it with a finger from an old glove. These would be awesome for lower amperage TIG and metal working in general.

The gloves do allow for better dexterity, but at the cost of less heat ...
I have slender hands for a man and the large size fits me snug, which is what I was hoping for. The gloves do allow for better dexterity, but at the cost of less heat protection. I find I need to stop more often, otherwise the heat really comes through the gloves. One other minor thing, but the inner lining, a fuzzy orange material, seemed to rub off on my welding jacket the first couple uses - minor, but annoying.

Great!!!!
already have ordered another pair as a back up, The first pair was flawed, but I contacted the seller and they rushed me a new pair with any problems, I weld for a living for the Military and let me tell you These things are a dream, I can pick up my welding rods with out having to take the gloves off and they are skin tight, the slide "plate" on the side works great and the Heat dosent bother me as with other gloves. Love em. Highly recommended.

Excellent gloves.
My son loves these gloves ---- as did his instructor. I ordered them when he was in school but have since ordered a couple more pair. Great feel and control.

I love these tig gloves
I love these tig gloves. Quality has some variance. Will be a bit tight, might want to go up a size.

This is a great TIG glove for the price. Doubles as a work glove. Comfortable for all-day wearing.
These are great TIG welding gloves for the money. You can get nicer ones, but if you don't want to spend $30 a pair, these are an awesome compromise. The pinky side has a double layer of leather, as that's where you are going to bake your hand as you drag it across your base material. The leather is holding up well, and has good insulative properties. However, these should be for TIG, and maybe MIG welding only. I would not do any Arc (stick), as that will be too hot for these gloves to handle. One nice thing is, these really double as work gloves. They have the right look, and they are short and flexible with some breathability that full leather TIG gloves do not.I do suggest that you pair these with some arm protectors such as Lincoln Electric Black One Size Flame-Resistant Welding Sleeves. That will keep you from getting a sunburn (arc burn), or trying to find a long-sleeved tee-shirt every day.
