My husband and I attended a military masquerade ball wearing these. They were quite impressive. Actually, 2 other couples had the same ones just different color choices, so they are clearly a popular item. They were easy to put on, comfortable (surprisingly), and very pretty. Even though they are mostly plastic they sure don't look it. I added a photo, which we don't look very happy about, but we were...it was an awkward photo moment. The only time we took these off was to eat dinner but then we put them back on even for dancing. Have fun with yours!

These masks are beautiful and durable. We got lots of compliments at our New Year's Eve masquerade party. Rated a 4 instead of 5 only because they are a bit uncomfortable. We glued some padding into the pressure points on the inside, and it was much better. The masks are secured with elastic bands and a small buckle, so much better than having to tie a ribbon.

These masks are stunning. If they come in great shape, I think they are well worth the money. However, the masks arrived yesterday and the one part on the left of the mask clearly slipped down before it glued in place. I have to weigh the hassle of returning the set/shipping them back (and my luck they would be damaged by the time they got there) versus keeping the defective mask.These were bought because I am surprising my son with a trip to Mardi Gras. I wish my mask was messed up and not his. Given how gorgeous they are, I would just weigh whether or not you are willing to deal with perhaps workmanship flaws in the mask and make sure you have plenty of time (and desire) to return them and get a new one if one is defective. There is no way for me to move the piece and hot glue it where it should be.

The male mask was perfectly fine from what I was told.. The womens mask is where the problem lies…. I love the mask, it was exactly what I wanted for my dress but the nose area was a huge issue. Not sure if all of them are like this or just mine, but it’s really tight and makes it hard to breathe. It is also uncomfortable because the lining/edges of it is sharp (around the nose). I tried loosening it, and it still didn’t fix the problem. I was able to deal with it for a few pictures but had to remove it to actually enjoy myself at the party. Overall, 4 stars because the mens mask was perfect… however the womens mask needs a little work.

The media could not be loaded.  They were great! Elastic ban could be a tad longer. It was tight around our faces and it ended leaving a red mark. It wasn’t a big deal but they would probably be more comfortable if they could be worn a little looser. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic! Looked better than I thought! Everyone at the party was jealous.

These masks were gorgeous, packaged well and very clearly marked as fragile so we handled them with care. They looked great but one thing I didn’t like was some extra plastic bits on my forehead (female mask) that were scratching and I kept removing the mask for a brake. If I had the time I could have taken an emory board and filed any rough spots I felt but this was bought for a last minute need. As far as the men’s mask, my husband said it was fine but I think it might have been a little too small for his head as he also took his mask off several time through the night and was rubbing the bridge of his nose.

I had to get something to match a dress I bought a year ago for a Masquerade. I was buying in the blind but clearly made a good choice. The extra mask ended up as a prop for the party so both went to good use.

Got these to wear to a masquerade ball on New Year's Eve. I was scared that they would be cheap looking based off of the price because it seemed too good to be true, but wow! They are awesome! They looked just as pictured and were surprisingly comfortable to wear. My husband and I both wore our for over four hours straight without any complaints!

Female's mask is super tight, left a red mark on my forehead after wearing it for 2 minutes. Male mask looks unfinished as if someone scrapped charcoal off of it.Waste of money as I couldn't wear mine and my husband wasn't impressed with his as it does not match the picture.

They look pretty good for the price but you can kind of tell they are cheap. The reason for low rating is that they are extremely uncomfortable! The women’s mask is so small it literally left dents in my face when I was trying it on
