Great purchase. Long delivery time but absolutely recommended.
I got this Bluetooth MMCX adapter, to use with my Shure SE-535 in-ear monitors, because the cord is inconvenient at times like running and working out at the gym. Generally, wireless is more comfortable. But I did not want to compromise on audio quality, since I had already gotten use to the 535. So I thought this adapter would be a good choice/compromise.I first tried this product: Poyatu MMCX Wireless Cable for Shure SE215, SE315, SE425, SE535 Earphones Replacement Bluetooth Cable With Microphone, with little luck. You can see my review on its page. After returning it, I purchased the Luxuray Bluetooth MMCX adapter here. Here is what I have found so far:PROS- The lowest volume setting is acceptable, but higher than what I would like. Let me elaborate, given the noise isolation on the Shure SE535, I only use, on my iPhone while using a cord, 1/16 volume bars when in quiet environments, and up to 4/16 bars when in noisy ones or if I want to hear as much sound detail as I can. That is my personal threshold. With this Bluetooth adapter, the lowest volume setting gives the equivalent of about 3/16 volume bars on the iPhone when wired. It’s higher than what I would like, especially for quiet environments (office, library, etc.) but works well for the exercising (Primary reason I purchased it).- The battery life is impressive. I have had it for four weeks now, and have charged it about four times. I use it sometimes in the office for a short while, sometimes while commuting (Bus or bike), but mostly at the gym, when running, biking, basically while exercising. The product specs say about 5 hours, which I have found to be true, or better.- The control is large, but comfortable. The buttons can easily be felt by touch and clicked without a problem. Hint: (If you haven't thought about it already) you can use the USB port to feel the orientation of the device and determine whether you are touching the volume up or down button.- The cord is pretty good. It seems sturdy and resistant enough.- The price is great ($16) and, although delivery time was long (about 4-6 weeks), it arrived faster than expected (like 3 weeks)- The device is not heavy and does not make my ears feel significant weight.- I have paired the Bluetooth adapter with my iPhone 5S and my Apple Watch 2 without any problems. However, the is a small caveat. Since I needed the Bluetooth adapter to work with both my iPhone and Apple Watch I had to pair it with both devices. The problem is that this adapter does not connect to both devices simultaneously. So, the work-around is that I must put the device I don't want the bluetooth adapter to connect to, in airplane mode. That is, if I want to connect the Bluetooth adapter to my iWatch, I first need to put the iPhone in airplane mode; then, I can turn on the adapter. Conversely, if I need the adapter to connect to my iPhone, I must put the iWatch on airplane mode first. Otherwise, it will connect to the last device it was connected to or may simply not connect at all.- Signal strength is great. I haven’t experienced any dropped connections or poor quality, interrupted music.- Sound quality is not as good as that experienced while using the cord, but it is good enough. There is a slight hiss (Very mild) but it is unnoticeable (at least to me) after the music starts.CONS- Other reviews have mentioned the USB cover to be flimsy and easily broken. While mine has not broke yet, it does seem delicate. One thing I do, to diminish wear and tear, is to carefully pop it open and rotate it carefully 180 degress to fully expose the USB port (See picture).- The volume is a little higher than what I want. I wish the lowest volume setting matched that obtained while using a cord. This could possibly also extend battery life of the adapter.- The part of the cord that goes over the ear is not as sturdy as the original cord that came with my Shure SE535. It does not hold its form as well. I typically use the rubber tips, but have found that because of this cable, the foam tips hold the earbuds in place better. It is not terrible, but it is definitely not as good as the cord provided with the Shure SE535.- The circuitry is exposed, which probably means there is very little resistance to moisture or water. You can see the circuitry through the gap between the buttons and the body of the adapter (See pictures). However, I have used it while running and working out and haven’t seen any failures yet.- As stated above, the device cannot connect to multiple devices simultaneously. Which means that if you have multiple devices, you must first put the devices you don't want to connect to, on airplane mode. Not doing this has given me problems in the past. It's slightly annoying, but for $16 it's something I'll tolerate.SUMMARYExcellent price, sturdy and solid cord, fantastic battery life, good-enough sound quality, great signal. Could it be better? Of course, but it's only $16.

Very good VALUE!
The 5 star I am giving is based on the value/price ratio. If you want to talk in absolute terms about the sound quality and battery life, while only willing to spend 20$, then please good else where.Overall, I am very happy with the purchase, especially given the price tag. Here are some more details.Sound Quality (pair with Shure 215):I would say this gets gets 60-70% out of the Shure 215, compared to the original wire. The mid-high range sounds a little thin to me. But overall, the pairing beats almost any budget bluetooth earbuds out there.Batter Life:I have only had the product for a week, so I cannot speak for the battery life after extensive use for say, 6 months. But currently, I can get 4-5 hours of listening, at moderate volume. This is more than enough for me.Volume:I mainly use this for daily commute and in the office. During the commute, I need the volume around 30-35%, and in the office, 20-25% is sufficient.Ease of use:Very easy. Pairing, volume, forward, etc. are all the same as the generic bluetooth earbuds out there.Control:The control part itself is large. (larger compare to other generic brands) Someone may not like it. But for me, this actually make it more comfortable to click and use.Fit:The ear hook part does not fit as tight as the original Shure wire. But in my use case (commute/office), this is not a problem. I do not use this in a gym setting, so I cannot comment.Bluetooth Range:Pretty short. Start to drop around 10-15 feet. But no problem if you have your phone in your pocket or in your backpack.

Awesome bluetooth adapter for your Shure SE series headphones/IEMs!
Can't say enough great things about this Bluetooth adapter for my SE215cl headphones. The seller was incredibly prompt (item arrived 3 weeks early!). Sound quality is the best I've had with these connectors at this price point!!Edit: and after 1 prolonged wear, the left channel seems to have shorted out. Dropped to 1* until I hear back from seller.Edit2: I had a replacement in the mail within 24 hours to the seller! New cable performs as expected, and sounds absolutely wonderful. Very personable staff with LUXU!

Price vs Features
Review after 1 year of use with Shure 215s.The sound quality is adequate, but definitely a step down from the original Shure cord. My choice was primarily based on the price of the wireless cable and I think that the sound trade off was good enough. The Bluetooth range is rather weak and the phone needs to be very close to work. If you go more than 10 feet away, the signal drops. This cord is solely for people who will use the headphones while having the phone on them all the time. But the biggest reason for a poor review is the battery life is well below advertised. At the outset, it powers 1.5-2.0 hours of continuous playback, probably less if you use the microphone. Over the year, battery life drains faster and now I can get just an hour of playback.Time for a new cord, so you have to do the math if it makes sense to buy a new one every year?
