So the medium isn’t as hot as I thought it would be but that’s ok.. I’m still experimenting on how much I can use in homemade hot chili oil without my face melting off from the heat.. The medium is mild in terms of heat but I also didn’t use more than 1/4 cup.. everyone’s heat level is different so adjust accordingly..It was definitely fresh tasting for the price.. I thought at 1st price is steep compared to others however I know why..It has a nice fresh taste It and not old and stale tasting..It comes with a recipe in a separate bag..This made a huge taste difference in this newer batch of hot chili oil..

The peppers arrived very fresh. They were packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. The peppers are smaller than expected, but pack a lot of heat and flavor. Great for my intended purpose of seasoning the oil for stir fry and for use in other spicy dishes. I’m happy with the level of heat, as a previous purchase of another brand was too mild for my taste!

Update: reached out to the seller. They were very understanding and kind. Gave me replacement of the product.Just received it and had white fungus all over my chilies. I can’t return so I guess I need to throw away this. Waste of money.Update:Contacted seller and they said they will send a replacement.

These are great for a little heat when cooking, I was really impressed when I received an email from the company on the care and storage of the product for maximum efficiency. Highly recommended.

My son and I love spicy foods. I've tried different types of chili from Asian and Mexican supermarkets, this whole dried chili is the most spicy so far.Just use a couple of dried chilies for cooking spicy chicken or fish, it tasted amazing! The quality is pretty high, most of these dried chilies in good shape.

The package I bought was mildew and mold inside with the peppers. I have moved on

I was expecting the peppers to be in small pouches in the bag itself, to keep the peppers fresh until I use them all. They’ll get dried out once I open it w/ out at least a zip log bag closure.
