The last shoe horn you'll ever need...( caution, for experienced professionals only. Not for the average shoe horn user)
It's a shoe horn! It is substantial enough that makes it easy to use and won't bend. Thus making it a really good shoe horn as shoe horns go. Why do they call it a horn? It doesn't play music, but it helps me get my shoes on from my power chair. It' s the best shoe horn I ever had. It is a professional shoe horn only used by professional shoe put-er on-ers, as shoe sales people would use, as opposed to amateur shoe horns that every day people use and don't work as well. I probably won't buy it again, because this shoe horn will last a lifetime and be handed down to my kids and grandchildren. I doubt it will ever wear out, thus making it the last shoe horn you will ever buy, unless of course you lose it. If you have any questions, please refer to the first 4 words of this review. I was not paid or received any discount from the company to write this review, I hope you got a good chuckle from reading it. JP

Perfect Shoe Horn
Never gave any thought about whether I'd ever find myself writing a review about a shoe horn, a metal shoe horn. But I got this thing and not only is it a substantial shoe accessory, really heavy duty, but when you hold it in your hand you notice that it is perfectly balanced and pretty much a work of art. It's beautiful. I don't want to hide it in a drawer. Some possessions, big and small, just become your favorites. This was instant. I know....

Everyone Needs One of These
I rarely bother to write reviews for products, and I certainly never thought I would write one for something so seemingly "trivial" as a shoe horn. However, after trying this OrthoStep shoe horn, I realized just how indispensable a high quality shoe horn is. It's thin--but completely without any sharp burrs that could cut up your nice shoes--and slippery; your foot will glide right into even the most stubborn of shoes. I cannot recommend this enough; it's simply perfect. It's beautiful, too. Whether you realize it or not, you need one of these; it makes getting dressed for the day so much quicker and easier.

very sturdy, good sized
This was such an after-Christmas hit, very sturdy, good sized, and nice quality. My college son decided he wanted to upgrade to some dress shoes in anticipation of graduating and job interviews. Three pairs later he asked for a cheap, plastic, short shoe horn from the last shoe store. I found this online later, and since I'm a silly Santa, got the one in his favorite color---that matches his car. He liked it!Update 3/28/18-- Yes, he liked it so much he lost it over Spring Break. He seemed pretty upset about it, actually. I didn't suspect a shoe horn that matches a car would wiggle it's way into his heart. Chill out, son. Amazon keeps a record of purchases and a replacement is just a click away.

Sturdy and easy to hold on to when you are ...
I was trying on a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and used their shoehorn. Thinking that their shoehorn was normal priced, so inquired about it. They wanted $108 for it. I told them to keep their shoehorn (but bought their shoes) and came home and made this purchase, which is less than $10. This is worth every penny and then some. Sturdy and easy to hold on to when you are trying to put your heel into your shoes.

This is the only shoehorn I'll ever need for the rest of my life, so no resells lol.
This is not your grandfather's shoehorn. Recently I've noticed I've been destroying the back of my dress shoes by trying to squeeze into them. I've not used a shoehorn in decades and decided to purchase one. This shoehorn is made out of solid piece of metal. I'm a pretty big guy and try my best with both hands to see if I could bend it a little bit. I could not! In my opinion the shoehorn is oversize which works well for me. The old smaller shoehorn's work but over time they would give way and often break. There's no way this one is getting way in going to break any time. In fact I'm confident I can give this shoehorn to my son as an heirloom. I feel sorry for the company because I really believe this is the only shoehorn i'll ever need for the rest of my life, so no resells lol. This shoehorn exceeded my expectations excellent product/

At last!
A metal shoehorn! I've been looking for one for years. And this one is a good one. Once in a while your local CVS/Rite Aid/Wallgreens/Walmart/Target will have a plastic shoehorn. Once in a while when you walk into a shoe store the clerk will be old enough to know what a shoehorn is and pull out a plastic one from behind the counter. (In my experience, if you ask someone under 40 for a shoehorn, they look at you like your speaking Urdu - even though they have no idea what Urdu is.) But even when a place carries a shoe horn, and there's one in stock, and the clerk you ask knows what and where they are, what you find are mostly plastic that will break in short order and are the ones with the long handle so you don't have to bend over - you lazy clod. A shoehorn is not to save you bending over. A shoehorn is to keep the back of your shoe from breaking down, and in these days when cobblers are coming back to repair your $300.00 shoes, preserving the back of the shoe is worth doing. And a solid metal shoehorn like this one will last you a lifetime.

Superior product!
I primarily use a shoe horn to assist with putting on sports/running shoes that have a silicone heal insert. I use the shoe horn at the back of the heel as well as sliding around the side of the heel. I have used plastic shoe horns which end up sticking to the insert. Or the shoe horn breaks as I try to slide it around the heel. Small metal ones are ok but don't seem to slide around the heel well or to be comfortable to handle. This shoe horn really is great. It slides between my heel and back of shoe, and around the heel between insert and shoe with ease. The shoe horn is comfortable to grip with its design and extra length. It also has a bit of weight to it which also adds to the comfort of use.I recommend this product and will definitely purchase another if/when needed (which may be quite awhile as this shoe horn seems sturdy for the ages!)
