Pretty wires
These cables are lighter weight than another set of replacement cables I have, but seem sturdy enough, and are pleasantly flexible as a result. The original cables were not covered by a braided sheath, but this set is covered by loose braided material not actually attached to the cord. Perhaps because of that, they are a little less microphonic than one set of cables I have that transmit small movements to the headphones.I am using this with beyerdynamic Amiron home headphones (yes, capitalization is correct). beyerdynamic uses a slightly different wiring convention on their phones than the standard, which is mostly important when designing balanced cables. As this single end (common ground) cable uses TS connectors at the earpiece end, unlike most that use a TRS connector, this is not an issue. They seem to work fine. Sound is great. I don't have a set of Focal, Denon, or other appropriate phones to test them with. The 3.5mm connectors at the headphone end are in thin casing, so should fit in any similar headphones that might have small recessed receptacles. The wood accents with gold metal on the amp end connector and the Y connector are very attractive, and give you some friction when plugging and unplugging from an amp.So, all in all, nice cables with a little bling, still considerably less expensive than the OEM replacements. Based on these, I would consider other cables from NewFantasia.

Another fantastic sounding, great quality cord from Newfantasia!
Another fantastic sounding, great quality cord from Newfantasia! Let me first say that I have been a fan of Newfantasia cables for a long time. I own probably 7 different cords of theirs for my multiple headphones. This cable is very well made. It looks to be of excellent quality with goal coated plugs, walnut end accents and cord covering the actual cable. The cord sounds great too, which is my main requirement. It is a huge upgrade over the stock cords of many headphones, including some high-end headphones. The sound is very clear and bass notes strong comparison to most other stock cords I have listened to. It's a fantastic value when one considers the quality and sound from this cord versus cords from come competitors that cost 10x more than that one. I recommend anyone with headphones or wired IEMs to give Newfantasia cords a try as I think you will like them as much as I do.

Works
I am using this on my fiio ajde jt1's and they work like they should (wired correctly). All the connection jacks connect firmly but take no real force to insert, especially for the headset side they won't freely spin annoying you. Over all the build quality seems pretty nice and the sound is just as good as my stock cable which I felt was really good. The wood accents are very nice against the gold colored accents. Only reason I am giving only 4 stars is because the upper wire covering is not as soft and flexible as the lower (larger) cable cover. This makes it a lot noisier rubbing against you.

Distinctive build and aesthetics, great sound quality
My third NewFantasia headphone cable. Like the others, great performer and value.Dense, rugged cloth weave has little memory or microphonics.I'm enjoying the brass and genuine walnut. Refreshing departure from more basic designs (e.g., all black). With Hifiman HE1000 Stealth headphones and wooden stand, a wood-on-wood-on-wood aesthetic -- maybe not for everyone, but I like it!Two meter (6.6 foot) length's my favorite for desk or couch listening, manageable but not constraining.Sound quality indistinguishable from capable stock cables, i.e. excellent.I prefer 6.35 mm jacks because they work with all my DAC/amps.Five stars ***** all the way.
