Exactly as described. Works well in my testing. When it close to the the thing I search, beep sound is really loud. found studs with no problem

My intention was to hang a heavy piece of furniture from an eye bolt in the ceiling, unfortunately this product did not work. I made two holes in the ceiling where the device indicated a stud was but there was no stud even close.
