Laan Matt Antique Brass Coat Hook (Set of 4)

To put this in perspective, I have been a CPT (NASM CPT, PES, CES, NESTA PFT, etc) for 12 years, and I'm the guy that everyone asks to open a jar lid that's stuck. I teach lifting mechanics, leverage, and how to use your strength to its full potential. This was by the far the hardest thing I've ever separated. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars, is because I eventually got the top off and installed. It did severely damage my wall however. When these are slid down after you tighten the screws super flush, they are offset by a 1/2 mm which carves away a channel on either end. Silicon WD40, a hammer, mini crowbar, a towel and patience got these puppies set into place. Please do better QC at the factory. More machine buffing on the mount and the top "slide" should be offset away from the wall so it is not touching the wall will fix this!!! These look amazing on the wall since they are Art Deco and antique brass - pretty much a perfect artistic design, but user friendliness is lacking.
