These are nice LED lights, and very easy to set up. You must supply your own batteries, but the info tells us that. Once you have inserted the batteries, read the instructions, you must decide what to do with them. I decided to use these Wire Lights in my deck. I have wrapped them around the ends of each corner, and they give off a nice Christmassy glow.Recommended. prisrob 12-09-17

Look great and work great so far

These two sets of LED, battery powered lights make a charming scene when brightening or enhancing an area or corner that would be inconvenient to wire. I don't love that they use three batteries (not included). Seems like LED shouldn't need that much power. And a reminder: if you're going to use them seasonally, remove take the batteries before storing away so they don't corrode inside and ruin the set.Time will tell how well they last, but these will be very useful to us with the holiday decorating.UPDATE: Here's how long they last -- three, fresh, AA batteries powering a string of LED (that's capital L capital E capital D low power) lights lasts about six hours. That is a no-go. Even if you're using rechargeable batteries -- as should we all, although it happens I didn't -- you shouldn't have to replace them every night. Dropped from four stars to one.

These are nifty little lights that you can use for a ton of things, including crafts and miniatures. We used them to wrap around a patio table and tuck into a tabletop VW Van, and the second string we wrapped around our front door wreath and tucked the controls in the back. The controls are VERY simple (I was afraid I was going to have to remember a set of complicated instructions because they are on a timer, but the timer just works for six hours after you start it, and then goes off after six hours and comes back on in 18. We started ours at dusk and voila! they come on every night at the same time. You could also use these in a light up sweater or for miniature trees. The lights are on very thin metal wire and look like there are tiny blobs of hot glue over the lights, so I guess that is what protects the lights and makes them waterproof. The control box about the size of a deck of cards (a wee bit bigger and somewhat heavier with the batteries installed) holds three AA batteries and the single button control is on the box.

These are a great little set of lights for a dinner table, outdoor party, wedding, etc. We put them in and around a champagne bowl and everyone loved it! (NOTE - the string part can go in water but NOT the whole thing - ie batteries... we were kind of bummed to discover this, but we were able to hide the battery pack with a cloth napkin that also acted as a bottle rest.)Not super bright, so they should definitely be used as decor or accent, but they're pretty and add a little "magic" to your tablescape.

Nice bright lights that last a long time. We've had them on purposely nonstop for 3 days now and they are still looking great. The picture shows that they are a warm light but to us they look more on the cool side than the warm side. Not a big deal but not true to the photo. They look great on a wreath and they have a timer plus many modes of blinking styles. Not a bad set of lights.
