If you are concerned about striping some leaves and getting the unripe along with the ripe than you don't have enough of what you're picking to need this. Buck up and hand pick them. But, If you are completely overwhelmed and realize you can't possibly pick it all in time than you are going to love this. I was resistant to getting one for those same reasons until I realized how much was going to go to waste if I hand picked everything.We're using it to pick our Spilanthes Flowers. They range in size from a small blueberry to a thornless blackberry. Yeah, we have to sort through the pile afterward to separate the nice looking ones for sale. But by using it I can be bent over in the garden about half the time as without. Sitting at the table and sorting is time consuming but far easier on your back and legs. It's been a real game changer for us.I bought 2 different kinds and this one is my favorite.

After using similar Swedish berry rakes, I purchased this for our trip up in the mountains. We only got a quart or two of berries but I can’t fault the Berry Rake. There just were not many berries and the weather has been much too dry. The handle on this model has a nice rubbery grip to it and the wire rakes are sturdy. Looking forward to our next trip to the mountains.

Easy to use.

It does make for an easy way to pick berries and have something g to put them in while still being able to pick, but if using it to pick, you still have to hold the branch and out the berry in the holder. It’s quicker to just pick them yourself.

This "scoop" works perfectly for the 12 blueberry bushes that I planted last year. The berries had a few more small stems to pick off, but no big deal. It was way better than picking them individually (esp since I ended up with 7 quarts!). It also didn't damage the leaves or branches. I love tools that make gardening easier; highly recommended!

This device really makes picking evergreen huckleberries about as easy as possible. These berries are very small but very plentiful.Pies....scones....mmmmmm

This worked great for our summer blueberry u-pick day. I only wish we had a few more. If the berries aren't all ripe, selecting by hand is better (to ensure no greens) but this cut down time picking immensely for the clusters of ripe blueberries.

I haven't used it much, but it did quit well. There is a baffle inside, next to the prongs(?) That keeps the berries from falling out when you tip it forward to get under a plant. The prongs themselves slide easily around branches and whatnot due to their rounded front, so there will be little to no damage done to the plant itself.The mosquitoes and sand flies sucked all my patience out, so I ended up being more then a little, ah, aggressive. This picker handled it easily.Why only 4 stars then? Eventually the plastic will break. Yes, that allows it to be cheaper, but an aluminum body would last longer.

I bought this to pick for my season which i have owned a few of these before cheaper models so i bough this thinking get something better this time. The product showed up bent the welding was not clean there were sharp edges that damage berries on top of that the forks broke off with one picking session. Keep in mind i have been using berry rakes for over 11 years and usually they last me 4 or 5 seasons so i was really disappointed with the quality of product. Also now im out one for my berry season
