This is the second of these "budget" adapters that I've bought. The previous one was from a different vendor but looked exactly alike. That one died within a week and was returned along with applicable review. This one has worked perfectly for a few months now with my P51. No messages about a mis-matched power supply or anything like that. The only reason why I don't give it a full 5 star rating is that it's a bit larger than the OEM power supply. Overall it's great and what I recommend to my peers.

AC power adapter works well enough, but if you have speakers on the same power strip they will have an loud annoying buzz when you plug in this AC power adapter.If you want to choose between listening to music or having laptop power, this the power adapter for you! Or if you don't have that type of setup, it would work fine, though this leaves a lingering concern on the quality of power this adapter provides.

So far this is working great on my Lenovo W540 with the I7 chip. i don't know how long it will hold up, but so far it doesn't get any warmer than my original Lenovo charger. And charges pretty fast.

I bought this one for a Lenovo P51. The adapter is recognized by my laptop as a 135V not as a 170v.It works, it is able to charge the laptop (I use a dock-station 40a2), BUT sometimes I received an alert that the computer "will go in airplane mode"...

Worked for about 2 months now it only charges at an angle... with the cord bent... got a new one and it causes the computer to ocerheat and crash.

Adapter did not output the specified wattage and laptop would not maintain a charge while running, would only charge while powered off.

This still works well after many months of use. Very happy with it unlike the narrower models, which died in 1-2 months.

Power adapter works very well, charges quickly and maintains the charge.
