I've never tried one of £1 ones because I've never seen them for sale until after I bought this. With Prime and stuff, this one was a no brainer. Needed it for some Polos, the day before my holiday..... ordered, did them, worked great. I reckon one charge did three or four polos. Worth every penny performance wise, and the fact I was able to get it so quickly. Internal battery that chargers from your regular phone cable, so really can't complain too much. Overall, it's a decent bit of kit.The only reason it's not 5* is probably the price. Yes, it has the internal battery, but you can literally get these for a pound at Home Bargains and Poundland. Does an internal battery make up for £9 difference? It was more about being able to get it quickly and for that, this served a purpose but it's important to be objective..... hence I think 4 stars is fair.

This is a very effective device for removing pilling and giving clothes a new lease of life. Refreshed my husbands fleece sweater/jumper which had started to look shabby within minutes. Since then I have used it on my cotton track bottoms, woollen sweater and a fleece blanket. The charge does last for a while around 40 mins of continuous use but the blades do slow down if fluff accumulates inside.. The chamber even though spacious does fill up quickly and has to be emptied, which basically means unscrewing the covers and using the brush provided to remove the fluff.My only slight criticism is that there is no way of knowing when the device is fully charged as the red light keeps on glowing.Overall this is a great device which is efficient, saves time and does not take up too much space and extends the life of clothes.

This lint remover wasn't cheep but it does the job well and it does it quickly. It is much more efficient than the previous regular battery operated versions I have had in the past, and recharging time and length of use between charges is good, with more than enough energy to get through a couple of large jumpers needing a lot of work on them. I read the review saying the lint holding compartment needs regular emptying and think it is worth remembering that it isn't just the size of the compartment that affect this but how much lint is being lifted off the fabrics you work on. It is not a large compartment but it held enough for me to clean up a large jumper lifting more lint than my previous models would have done. It's easy to empty so there's no hardship in clearing out - I'd much rather have an efficient lint remover with small compartment than an ineffient one I didn't have to clear out so regularly. I think this little gadget is going to worked hard and earn it's money here. Very pleased with the tidied up garments.

I would really like to give this 5 stars for how well it removes pills from sweaters, but for me it has two minus points. It is fiddly to empty the tank, which seemed to fill up quite quickly (but that could be the amount of pills there were). The pills occasionally accumulated around the blades and slowed the motor down, meaning not only unscrewing and rescrewing the cover but also the mesh, but easiest with arthritis. The battery life means you shouldn't plan on finishing more than two large sweaters in one sitting. On the plus side, the two position handle made it easier to use.+ Very efficient shaver+ Two position handle- Fiddly to clean- Limited battery life

I bought this lint remover based on the reviews that I read on here and I also I highly recommend it as it really does work. However it can take you some time to debobble an item! I have used it on jumpers, costs and trousers and it works a treat. The only down side (and reason for four stars rather than five) is that you have to empty the chamber a lot. But other than that, it's great and I like that you can recharge it when you need to.

In 5 years of using Amazon, and countless thousands of pounds spent across a wide range of products, this is the first item I have left a review for! Genuinely amazing device. Great quality feel, even when you power it on, down to the satisfying hum! I was going to opt for the Philips model, however this device has a slightly different blade shape (entirely pointless if you ask me) but the device in itself is still fantastic. I have bought multiple link removal devices over the years (cheap plastic rubbish) and they never last long. This being rechargeable also makes life easier! Can’t believe this isn’t marketed better.. Maybe the manufacturer should contact me to help them with that :)

I bought this to de-bobble my favourite wool jumper which was extremely bobbly. This is an excellent product. It’s removed all the bobbles inside and outside of my jumper including inside the sleeves. I had to recharge it about 4 times to do such a large area but it’s fine because it is so easy to use. It comes with a little brush which is vital for cleaning the lint. The only slight negative is that there is no obvious way of knowing when it’s fully charged. It would be handy if the charging light turned a different colour when it’s fully charged but that’s a minor thing. I’d def recommend this product.

I absolutely don’t regret buying this! It has literally saved me money as I’ve been able to save so many of my old favourite jumpers and even a coat so that I can wear them again this winter! It’s really pretty amazing!!This is great for resfreshing your favourite clothes that have perhaps got a bit bobbly from lots of wear. I did put two small holes in two different tops so be careful! It seems to happen on thinner garments and It’s best to lay the garment really flat like across an ironing board and to use very light pressure.Great product! My mum wants one!
