This is Version 2 of the popular Mk8 drive gear. The difference between new Version 2 and previous design in the manufacturing process that we use for cutting teeth. We have improved technology - we made advanced carbide cutter to cut teeth profile. That resulted in super sharp teeth and very good grip. MK8 gear designed for direct drive extruders based on NEMA 17 stepper motors, as well as geared steppers equipped with 5mm drive shaft.
