Ideal for use as a car seat in the cold weather

The underside of the mat is very flimsy, thin plastic. It is only suitable to be used on smooth surfaces. Any rough surface such as rocks or rough wood would destroy it. Not really ideal as I wanted it to use as a picnic mat when hiking.
