I bought this for me to sleep on and though i just caught the end of the heatwave it did help. If they can keep dogs cool with fur it can work for me. No gel either. The sun is on my bedroom for the best part of the day and does get very warm so i need all the help i can get. Yes i would recommend.

Hmm....while one side does feel cool to the touch, it doesn't quite cut it as a cooling mat like the blue gel ones do, it doesn't come even close unfortunately. It might bring a bit of comfort to a smaller dog but certainly not for a larger breed. It is very soft and one side is silky feeling and the other more velvety-this is the warmer side. It is a soft grey colour and looks and feels nice and has a bit of thickness to it to take the edge off laying on a hard floor, but sadly it doesn't really work for me and my dog.

I ordered this for our puppy in preparation for summer. Last summer was really hot, so I want to be prepared for any heatwaves. The mat seems well made and is a good quality. Puppy likes it, so I hope he will sleep on it when the weather gets hot.

This is a nice soft cool mat for dogs.My dog is elderly and has a lot of fur so often gets too hot. This is great for him. It's a good size, he is a big Pomeranian. There is plenty of room for him to lie down as you can see in the photos.It's well made. Can be folded up easily for storing.

Product is just as described and Olaf used it by herself 5min after it arrived and stayed there for a good hour nap in the 28°C heat.
