The extractor is speed controllable using voltage or frequency control and as a protection for the motor, it is equipped with a thermal switch that turns off the motor if it reaches a dangerous working temperature. The Swiss-made motor, together with the propeller design enables this type of fan to deliver a strong airflow while making less noise. Quiet and efficient but don't really like any inline resistance
Good fan for an extraction system. I did find that once I fitted filtration in the ducting the fan couldn't pull anywhere near the air it moved without the filtration resistance. I solved this by fitting 2 fans in line which overcome the filters resistance.

Exceptional value for money
I needed a good fan for my greenhouse after the previous one failed. I wanted a good airflow rate to keep the plants in good health, and this was the right size for what I would need in summer.It is beautifully made, and I built a frame on which it stands, and with a dimmer switch I can control the airflow. I have 2 10" grilles on order to make it safe for domestic use, as it is really built to be inserted in a ducted ventilation system.Even so, for the price, it is a wonderful buy, and a great product.

Quality fan never had a single issue with it. Needs a variac to eliminate hum if you want to slow it down. It moves 760 cubic meters of air.
