Guide to the Crystal Gems (Steven Universe)

Very cute book. The writing is quite simple and easy for young readers to understand (the font is a suitable size too) but doesn't alienate older readers. Any fan of the show will enjoy this book. While it mostly just goes over things already addressed in the show, it does provide some new information, especially about character's opinions of each other. There's also a lot of pictures too for people who have trouble reading. Overall, a really good book and a must-have for any Steven Universe fan, young or old.My only complaint is very minor and will probably go unnoticed by younger readers, but Garnet's design changes throughout and for most of the time is still her old design (except for the glasses), which is strange because this book is definitely post-Jail Break. Other than that, I see nothing else wrong with the book.

Nothing really secret or extra in this book, it’s all things that are already known from the show.The arts pretty and it’s cute to look through it though I’m no longer a fan.

A very good read for any fan of the show. Those who aren't fans still won't be turned away, due to this book's cute presentation and writing style, where it reads as if the main character, Steven, wrote it himself.It is, however, slightly dated as of now when the show has progressed further, so it is mainly a nostalgic read.The copy I recieved was cheap, and yet in near-perfect condition. It arrived a few days late, however, for unknown reasons.

5/5 - Incredibly Written and Illustrated.This book is simply a Great "Guide to the Crystal Gems". It covers everything to the Gem War to Malachite's Skin tone. All the things you need to know about Steven Universe are in this book.It is of course a bit out of date meaning there are New Gems/Fusions to be added for like a Guide to The Crystal Gems 2? I for sure would purchase something like that.It came along with some Art tools I purchased from Amazon and the Packaging was incredible. Amazon never fails to Deliver and Rebecca Sugar never fails to Impress. I'd purchase again, Thanks.

This book is really sweet, and definitely appropriate for younger audiences due to the simple text and the cute pictures. Although I was expecting something more than just a retell of the series and experiences from the TV show in the book's content, it is a nice thing to have on the shelves, and a cute piece of merchandise. I bet younger children will love this!!

This is a fun little book possibly aimed at the younger audience but not so far that the older one cannot enjoy it. It establishes things that are already known about the show, some things stated elsewhere (eg Twitter) as well as some new things. Worth the time and money, in particular if you are a fan.

My son absolutely loves Steven universe. It's quite difficult to find products and they tend to be expensive. Great book.

Great book for Steven Universe fans - very comprehensive guide to the Crystal Gems.I am not a Steven Unvierse fan, per say, by my husband and daughter are and I've read this to my little girl when Daddy has been out, and it's nicely illustrated and quite charming.
