Sturdy boxes
Best boxes I've ever seen. Really strong, compared to other ones I've used. Great selection of sizes too.

Worth the little extra compared to cheaper flimsy boxes.
Yes there's aren't the cheapest boxes, and if they were sold at their "rrp" they would be exorbitantly expensive however they are very high quality and definitely worth the little bit extra when compared to cheap boxes. Not quite sure why the picture shows loads of different size boxes as you will receive 15 457x457x457 boxes. The boxes, as you would assume, arrive flat packed bound with a couple of strong straps, the cardboard is (for lack of a better way of describing it) pre scored so folds in the right places. With a few pushes and a bit of tape your boxes are complete. The cardboard is thick and high quality so you have confidence when you're loading them up. We filled several boxes most of the way full of books and there was no hint of them coming apart, the only reason I didn't fill them to the top was the worry that the tape holding the bottom together would not stand up to it. And the fact that they were super heavy. After we finished using them for our house move we gave them to my parents for their move, apart from having to scrub out the old contents list they held up perfectly and have been put aside for a later move.

These are great sturdy boxes for general use, or in my case for moving house.
These are great sturdy boxes for general use, or in my case for moving house. They come batch flatpacked ready for folding out, which is good due to simplicity, but also gives them a severe lack of protection when dispatched to you. They are all packed together using one polypropylene band which Amazon Logistics use as a carrying handle. This of course meant some of the boxes arrived damaged where the strap had ripped up into the boxes so one star dropped for this. That aside though they are what they are, cardboard boxes which are simple to fold into shape and tape together. And whether you use them for moving home like I did, or making a fort for your kids, they are sure to serve you well.

cradled in your arms like an injured badger
If you've read any of my other reviews - and admit it, you know that you can't get enough of them - you'll be aware that I moved house and bought things to help me move.If you're moving house and you don't want to carry items in small bundles, cradled in your arms like an injured badger, you're going to need boxes. Lean in close and I'll tell you a secret... closer... not that close! - ok, perfect, here goes: the more stuff you have, the more boxes you'll need.I needed a few boxes. The Moving Committee approved the purchase and I bought some. As boxes go, these are fine for a move. I wouldn't bank on using them too many times after you move, as they are easy to damage, but that's ok. I erred on the side of caution and taped the bottoms with packing tape, just to avoid any unfortunate accidents. I'd recommend that you do the same. These are decent quality cardboard boxes. One thing to bear in mind: the bigger the box, the more stuff you get in it, so you won't need as many boxes. But. The more stuff you put in, the heavier the boxes will be. Something to do with physics, apparently.

Flimsy and badly made
Very poor quality as far as thickness of cardboard. The first three I took out of the packaging were cut and glued ok. All the others were incorrectly joined together leaving gaps at the edges when you made them up. I would send them back but I need them to use now. As it is I’ll have to tape all the edges, which makes extra work and time. Hopefully that will do but I’m not confident they’ll be sturdy enough to do the job.No way would I recommend these boxes.

Strong and stackable
Unlike the single-walled cardboard boxes, these double-walled boxes are really strong and can be stacked on top of each other without too much worry of the whole pile collapsing. The 457x457x457 is quite a nice size too, giving a nice cube-shaped container that is easy to carry and won't have you skinning your knuckles trying to fit it through a door. It's a little too big for packing books in as the box will end up too heavy, but for bulkier, less dense items it works well. They came in extremely handy for a recent house move and have survived in tact. With the tape cut, they fold flat again and are now providing "extra insulation" in the loft, ready for next time we need to use them.As boxes go, these are highly recommended.

Too expensive for less quality. Rubbish delivery company
The material of the boxes seems to be quite robust as it is a thick cardboard, however the boxes are folded in a not very practical way and to have them stay together you will need duct tape. The bottom of the boxes won't they shut if you don't tape them. I'm disappointed about that as I've had other cardboard boxes before that are pretty stable even without taping. The price is definately to high for this kind of boxes. Also, the delivery company seems to be pretty incompetend and unprofessional. I saw the delivery van driving in but instead of ringing the bell, the delivery man knocked the door once, put the boxes right in the doorframe and drove off straight away without even checking if somebody was home.

Pretty heavy boxes
Pretty heavy boxes, a single one has 1.1 to 1.2kg. Arrived a little bit moist on the side, some of the corners were a bit damaged and one box could not be used because one edge was ripped (the whole package being pretty heavy, first and last boxes were damaged). The rest of 13 boxes in the middle are in almost perfectly good shape, seem like strong boxes.A little bit disappointed in the delivery; the guys that delivered the package did not ring at the door and assumed i was not home, even though i was, and returned the package. The second day when they came, i almost missed the package again, because even though i literally guarded the door, all i could hear was one single frail knock, and in that 2.5 sec that took me to open the door they almost left...If i hadn't missed it the first time, the package would have arrived the second day after the order, which is pretty great.3 stars for strong boxes, matching the descriptionminus 2 stars for moist corners, one edge ripped and having to guard the door for delivery

Fragile and badly constructed
I am really annoyed! I bought the set of 15 boxes to send personal belongings abroad and they are absolutely useless. When they arrived the two outer boxes were already ripped by the tough plastic tape holding them together. Some edges had got a few drips of snow on them and were soft and soggy like wet newspaper. The paper (holding the two corrugated sheets together) is so thin it breaks on touching. The glued joins pull apart immediately, even before placing anything in the box, The 'box' is so soft the sides bulge, and the top and bottom burst open. I will now attempt to use half the boxes to reinforce the remaining half, and wrap with gaffer tape to hold it together. After a lot of work I might get 7 useable boxes from the 15 but I'm not very hopeful. Money down the drain ...
