Remote is Frustrating [updated May 2025]
Update May 18, 2025Remote went from not working properly or sometimes at all to now it works without even pointing to the projector which is a complete change. Not sure if there was an auto update or something but remote works now. Projector at a 12 foot distance in my case produces roughly 100 inch screen. My wall is pretty flat so no need for a screen although could boost the image, but I'm ok it's for the living room anyways. Volume without speakers was pretty clear, but I hooked up some older computer speakers with a small subwoofer which doesn't do much but the audio is a little louder but not too loud to disturb the neighbors. The brightness even with lights on is really good. It's very visible and no need to black out. The focus on the primary remote that comes with it is very cool so no need to press buttons on the projector itself. Setup was pretty easy and adjusting the 4 corners thru settings was super friendly. I run a roku stick that connects to the hdmi port and uses the USB input for power. The only issue I have is that I can't use the roku remote to control the volume so I must use the projector remote to do so. Not a deal breaker just wish to turn on TV primary remote then rest with roku remote. I haven't experienced any choppy video whether it's a show, movie, wrestling, or even sports. I used to watch from a 37 inch TV and had to use glasses to read the screen or stand close to it to move around and pick something out. 100 inch (measured so not 120 as previously mentioned) screen makes it easier to read and navigate without needing to be close up nor wear glasses. Honestly for the price point I got it at I expected lower quality overall like most projectors. I think when I bought it the price was near $100 but even if its $200 maybe even $250 it would be a great purchase as long as it remains the same quality (minus the remote issue at the start and for some time after).Old Update:The remote itself works whenever it wants. Sometimes I'm able to use it at different angles, but most of the time I literally have to be in direct sight of the front of the projector like literally direct. Meaning if directly in front of it but at a slight angle it won't work even if I'm literally at its line of sight. Even keeping it at the same angle directly in front of the projector where first couple clicks worked it then stops working. The projector itself is 10/10 for its price point and I can at least get 120 inch without any issues. I could probably get a bigger size visual but would require more distance which I currently don't have so by experience 120 inch is confirmed. I do enjoy the auto focus buttons on the remote. Wish menu/ setting buttons like screen adjustment were available beyond going back to home screen which means exiting the source like hdm1 to do so if I want to adjust the screen if its off a little.. I do notice any slight movements of the projector it'll throw off the screen adjustments slightly enough to notice. Minor sunlight into the room or lights on doesn't affect the visual as much I mean of course it won't be as vibrant but still visible. In fact I don't have a projector screen and it looks really good on the wall. The audio itself is pretty good, but currently running an AUX cord to an old computer speaker for a little better and centralized audio (for now). Currently on a tripod so has the capability to use on a tripod so no need to mount it if your unable to like an apartment or landlord that doesn't want holes in their wall type of scenario or if you just don't want holes on the wall. Android Miracast works with little to no delay between screens. Projector is capable of using a Roku stick just attach the USB to the USB slot to give the roku stick power when the projector turns on.There are a bunch of pros thus I haven't thought of returning the item based on the projector itself. IF I do return it then it'll be cause of the unfortunate remote that works 1% of the time and even that is inconsistent. Might be mainly due to IR or the sensor or remote not functioning properly as when it works it temporarily works.

🎥 UPDATED REVIEW: October 25th, 2024Initially, I had rated my experience 1 ⭐️star. 🙁 and you’ll see why in my review below. And then a few days later, I received a message from the company and they were willing to give me a full refund upon returning the projector.. Unfortunately, it was one day after I had thrown it into the trash and the Trash man had picked it up that morning that I received the email from the company.I explained to them that I appreciated that they reached out to me and offered a full refund for my troubles. Even though it had been over a year since I purchased it. However, I had thrown it away, so I had nothing to return. So again, I thought that I would not receive a refund since I threw it away, but they responded and offered me a 50% refund. Wow! That’s what I call a great company! Truly not what I expected and therefore, I am upgrading my one star to a five star experience! They went above and beyond to make it right for me.I believe this is a good company that has a quality product and it shows in the numerous five star reviews. And the customer service is outstanding as they have proven to me. Therefore, if you ever experience a problem with your projector, I advise you to contact the company before throwing the projector away. Even if it’s been over a year since you bought it. You never know, perhaps they will go above and beyond for you as well!Sincerely,Satisfied Customer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I purchased this projector in October of 2023.I spent numerous hours trying to set it up and get it to play something. I tried everything. I tried screen mirroring, HDMI, with my Android phone, with my Apple iPad, but nothing worked. I even tried connecting a DVD player. Still nothing! 20 plus hours later, I put the thing away because I had no more time to mess with it. And of course it was past the 30-day return window. Finally, in June of 2024 I had the bright idea of sticking my Roku stick into it and voila! It works! It was awesome for about 3 months. Probably watched approximately 30 to 40 hours worth of screen time. I am an Airbnb hostess and had a group of 15 coming to my four cottages. I was so excited for them to see the outdoor movie theater I had set up. Complete with Cabana, popcorn making machine, Lounge chairs, water fountains, fire pit and the whole nine yards of artificial grass! However, now the projector decides to not work. The light came on for about 2 seconds and then went out. I messed with the thing for about 3 hours. To no avail. I'm so pissed off! Those stupid mother f company is selling crap! Before purchasing, I read all the glorious five-star reviews. My bad for not checking all of the one-star reviews! Had I known there were so many issues I'm sure I would have bought a different brand of projector. Don't buy it! I tried researching the problem, perhaps just changing the light bulb would work, but I can't find anything about changing out the light bulb. In the listing it says that the light bulb lasts for 20,000 hours! What a crock of feces! 40 hours tops is what I got for $170! And of course it's Saturday night and I tried calling the phone number listed but nobody answered. After reading all the one-star reviews I see that it will be another big waste of time to contact customer service for any help. You've been warned! 👎🚫🎥

Pretty decent!
This was surprisingly good for the size and price. It's reasonably bright and throws a big image from a short distance. A little confusing at first to set up Android casting to it, but worked great once I realized what I was missing.

Perfect for movie or game nights!
We purchased this projector in time for the holidays and loved it. People that come over are amazed and love it. It is very easy to setup and the quality of the picture and sound is fantastic. It is perfect for holiday move nights, sporting event gatherings or anything else. The fan isn’t too loud either. The size of the screen is excellent and can adjust the focus as needed. We recommend GooDee and for the price is hard to beat in the projector world.
