Works for Synthesia and Yousician!
No Dislikes!Works great for both Synthesia and Yousician, and I'd expect it to work with FL Studio and other MIDI software as well for up to 16 channels of MIDI send/receive,Drivers are included so no need to install - truly plug-and-play.Lights on the USB input that indicate power on, and one that may be to indicate there is MIDI data passing such as your instrument playing or a metronome being sent to the instrument.Highly recommend this product as it is great quality at an affordable price!

Works like it should. No issues at all.
What can I say, it just works like it should. Hooked up to Roland EP-7II digital piano and then my Windows 10 desktop PC. Windows recognized the MIDI adapter immediately. After setting the proper settings in my DAW (Studio One 3 Artist) it saw my keyboard and away I went. Have not had any issues with lost signals or dropped connections to/from my PC and keyboard. I would recommend this to anyone looking to connect a MIDI equipped keyboard, synth, drum-pad, or any other type of MIDI controller to their computer. Just be sure you have the correct software on your PC/Mac to be able to use this adapter and your MIDI controllers to create, compose, edit and master your music. Studio One 3 Prime is free but limited in it's functionality. Same goes for Audacity, which is very basic but easy to learn. I recommend Reaper. It's a free for first 105 days, then, if you like it, you can purchase for $60. Very full-featured with add-on support and cheaper than most other DAWs. Keep in mind that there is a bit of a learning curve when first using any DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Luckily there are tons of helpful videos and websites that will help get you started. Once you start to get it figured out, the possibilities are endless and really a lot of fun.

Cable works great for simple and basic midi inputs
3 stars for performance, 4.5 stars for customer service. 4 stars total. What can I say its a slick looking midi cable. Tried it on multiple devices and did 2 weeks of testing and it just does not always meet expectations. Cable works great for simple and basic midi inputs. However, when doing advanced chords and chord progressions the driver inside the cable seems to skip the frame where you release a key and it forever holds out the note. For the less technical people, the problem is some chords in certain cases never stop sustaining or playing and a full reset is required. The customer service is excellent. The only fault was how long it takes them to respond or even acknowledge that I sent them an email. They refunded my cable when I said it had a fault and did not even want me to send it back to save me the pain. Now that is service. Hope that helps anyone looking at this cable. For those wondering, I tried this with a Yamaha and a Spectrum Midi Keyboard.

Works but seems very cheaply made
It is working fine so far but... there was something loose in the USB plug right out of the box- if I shake it I can hear something rattling. And the wires are very thin and the whole thing just feels very light and cheap, so along with the rattling I am pretty concerned about how this will hold up and do not feel confident using it at a gig. I plan to order another one and keep this as a backup.
