When Willow Winters and Lauren Landish come together to write a BDSM book you've got to suspect it's going to be intensely good, and it was. At first, I wasn't sure about reading this as I'm not big into BDSM books but this was not hard core and it was such a captivating read that the BDSM was just one feature of this couples complicated history. However saying that, this story is dark, I would say it's the darkest read from this writing duo and it's packed with a lot of heightened emotion.Dahlia is broken, as a teen she was raped and it has profoundly impacted her and all of her relationships since. She’s had trouble having healthy adult intimate relationships. Her need to be dominated has turned off previous lovers and she finds herself alone more often than not. Dahlia’s co-worker suggests that she step out of her comfort zone and join her at a BDSM club for their monthly auction.Our leading mad, Lucian has closed his heart off from the world. Having been betrayed by his whole family and being blackmailed by his ex-wife, has led him to trust no-one. Lucian is cold, hard and isolated. He's retreated into his work, sacrificing a personal life to focus on his company instead of his money-hungry parents and ex-wife. He goes to the auction out of curiosity but once he lays his eyes on Dahlia he must have her for the month.Though dominant and controlling, Lucian is very cautious with Dahlia, knowing that this world of play is all new to her. He teaches her, pleasures her and helps her find her limits. Dahlia and Lucian are insanely hot together and their scenes are off the charts.Please note:- This is a D/s relationship where boundaries are explored. The sex is aggressive - this book is definitely not for the faint hearted.Although part of a series, this is a great standalone with No cliffhanger. I cheered for this couple and I can't wait for the next book. I hope to read a lot more about this couple in future series as the authors have promised.

I honestly think this is a good book! I love how Dahlia stuck to her wits for the longest time not trusting too easily with her secrets or being so forthcoming to a stranger. I feel like the dynamics with families not always treating their kids like their own and making them a priority is shown a lot in today’s society. And I feel like this book hit it in the park. I also love the fact it talks about BDSM clubs and playrooms and how Lucian made his submissive really come alive. The only thing I would suggest in further books is to talk more about the BDSM and all the different toys and put it in more details on how to use and vice versa! I rate it a 4.6 stars all together and I’m excited to carry on to the second book!

The ending in this book is too abrupt and frustrating! This like mini 3rd act breakup wasn’t needed, or it should have happened earlier to really feel the impact of the HEA. I also felt like the beginning was really slow, it took awhile to describe the atmosphere at the Club and how Dahlia gets there, I feel like we needed to get to the spice earlier. I also wanted to know more about her mother and Lucian’s ex, I think both of those could have really played up the story line if given more time. I also felt like the way he dealt with the uncle was so out of left field, this isn’t a mafia romance? I also hated that the author didn’t capitalize her nickname, Treasure.Other than that, LOL, I loved that Lucian wanted to help Dahlia. And he realized what he wanted in the end. Although we don’t get a clear picture of her recovery, I do love that Dahlia is able to find a safe place with Lucian.

I so enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down. Read the entire thing in one sitting. Can’t wait to start the next one in the series. Thank you for keeping us all reading great stories.

She will be put up for auction and sold to the highest bidder for a 30-day contract as a sex slave. Knowing that she craves dominance, she agrees to this arrangement.Enter the incredibly hot billionaire Lucian Stone. Lucian is estranged from his family with the exception of his sister Anna. What happens when the 30 day contract is up? Will Lucian and Dahlia be able to heal from their past and embrace a future together? Hmmm, it will be fun finding out…..I also loved the supporting characters, Zander, Isaac, Carla and Sandra. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book but I also purchased my own copy. I urge you to do the same. I’m sold on “Bought-Highest Bidder!” You will be too!!!!!!!

The concept of the story is interesting, but the ending feels abrupt with a few loose ends that I feel still need tied.

Willow and Lauren have written a book that will remain with you for a very long time. I wanted the story to continue but, every good thing must come to an end. I will be looking for book 2 and hope they might carry overI'm not telling you the story line, you will have to read it and make up your own mind. It's not for everyone. Enjoy

I loved reading this book. The characters were great and I enjoyed the story.Lucian was a fantastic character. I loved watching his emotions develop as his relationship with Dahlia grew. He is such a considerate Dom, always trying to give her what she needs. I enjoyed watching them slowly open up and seeing him trying to help her with what happened.Dahlia is a good character. She has trauma from her past which she hides from Lucian. Neither of them expected to develop feelings, but they did.They were a good match and the spark between them was on fire. It was nice watching them grow into something real. I just wish we got to see more of them together without the contract. I felt the situation with Lucian’s ex-wife was left unresolved as well.Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and I absolutely loved reading Lucian and Daliah together. Lucian was amazing. Willow Winters can never go wrong. Even with Dom - Sub relationship being the backbone of this one, this book was Un-put-downable. Dahlia is curious about the BDSM scene and also in need of cash whereas Lucian needs a submissive and no just for play - pretend. When he sees her at the auction, he becomes so smitten by her and has to have her. She becomes his treasure which to claim he will not stop at anything. I loved their chemistry. Honestly, I wanted to be Lucian's dahlia. he's just so hot and cares about his treasure. I just loved the way he refers to her as treasure. Loved it 💖

I am a big fan of the writing combination of this duo, they never disappoint me and this book is no exception.Lucien and Dahalia are two complex characters who have been betrayed in the past by family members, they are disconnected from the world until Lucien bids on Dahalia at a BDSM auction While the BDSM is apart of their story its not what this book is about. BDSM is the language this couple uses to communicate with each other. Its a roller coaster ride watching them find their way and learning to trust each other.Hot steamy sex scenes..... whew.....I felt the issue with Lucien's ex -wife was unfinished, she plays a major part of his distrust issues and is causing trouble for him. I felt there was no closure in that aspect of the book.Looking forward to finding out Lucien's friends stories... hoping they find their own treasuresTotally loved this book, going into my favourites to read again collection folder on my kindleI received a copy of this book for an honest review
