Q: I usually wear a size 8.5 wide, what size would work best for that?

I normally wear a 6.5 in a sandal or round toe and a 7 in a closed pointed toe. I ordered a 6 in this sandal and it fits beautifully; in both length and width. It's a lovely sandal. I recommend it. However, my foot is not wide, it's medium in the toes and narrow in the heel. It does have some give in the width, but if your foot were to hang over the sides, that wouldn't look very elegant.

Q: what is the heel height? The pictures look like a 3 1/2" heel but a couple show a lower heel?

We have 2 heel height versions of the same color, the 8CM high heel version and the 5CM low heel version, that couple is showing the 5CM low heel version. You only need to buy according to the heel height shown in the picture.
