Disgusting.
Only good if you want to prank someone. Totally disgusting. So much salt that you cannot taste anything else. Tried washing it off the see if it was just salt coated, didn’t help. If you can manage to keep it in your mouth long enough there is a faint flavor.

OMG,,, i dont know what this stuff is but it is SO AWFUL.. I haven't found a single person (all lovers of licorice) who can even stand to keep it in their mouth. You will SPIT it right out! I don't know what the taste is, but the "saltiness" isnt even salt... It tastes like aluminum! If you love licorice... stay away. If you love salt... stay away, this is NEITHER. I have never tasted ANYTHINIG SO AWFUL. This is truly NOT edible.

This…this is perfection
I’ve been a fan of licorice since childhood. Went many years without eating it, and have begun eating it again frequently in the last year. Always felt I was missing something with it, though. Got wind of ammonium chloride licorice (Nordic Sweets fish) but it just wasn’t quite salty enough, and $9 for a small bag hardly seemed worth it. This package arrived tonight, and wow! An absolute treat, you can still feel the salt an hour after eating them. Dubbelzout is quickly becoming one of my favorite foods!

Its salty, like real salty.Its good, but not one of those "sit around and eat too much of it" good, like a "have a few pieces every once in a while" good.It grew on me after a while, but if you don't enjoy super salty stuff this probably isn't for you.

Disgusting!!!
Unbelievably nasty! I can't understand why anyone would take what would have been really good licqurice and turn it into trash with salt. I've had licqurice with a hint of salt which isn't all that bad but this is unbelievable! Before you buy it try shoving a black licqurice twizzler into your mouth along with a teaspoon of salt. If you like that then go ahead and buy this crap!
