Marigold Swiss Vegetable Bouillon 150g

I use this to make roasted chicken in a clay pot from Germany (Römertopf), using my German mother-in-law's recipe. I also tried it once as a drink (as suggested on the carton), and it's good! So far, this bouillon doesn't strike me as anything extraordinary, and of course it seems pretty overpriced to me (it's the same size as one of the regular small jars of powdered or cubed bouillon or "Better Than Bouillon" paste that you buy at the store). But I never have any luck finding powdered vegetable bouillon in stores, and it's called for a lot in German recipes we use, so I will probably continue buying it this way. Good product.

Great on all veggies and to make a veggie soup base.

I found this product in England, could not get it in the US, but thru Amazon it's available. It has no bad stuff in it like so many stocks, and it tastes really good. I use it all the time (when I don't make my own).Update: July 2016I just re-purchased this bouillon and the ingredients now include MILK. Disappointed in this change.

This vegetable boullion has been a staple in my kitchen for years. It is the best. Not overly salty as often happens with other brands. Many of my favourite cookbooks recommend. So do I. I'll even buy an extra and store in the freezer to keep fresh. Never want to be without it.

The maker of this product has a consistently good reputation. This is my favourite bouillon, be it toaccompany meats, fowl or just veges. Wonderful flavour, not overly salty, just a little adjustment asI taste along. The Swiss are quite good in the integrity of many of their products.

Overpriced but finally found something that resembles the similar Morga brand product I used to buy locally.

Makes a delicious vegetarian broth and I like the powder better than the cubes so I can alter the strength.

I have been using this product for years. I am diabetic and I make a drink of it for lunch if I am not hungry it keeps my sugar down.
