Reliable high performing Bluetooth Dongle
There isn't much to say about this dongle (and that's a good thing). It was plug & play to connect it to my Windows 10 PC. I was able to connect my PC to my Bose Soundlink Color Bluetooth Speaker and it works flawlessly. My speaker is about 10 feet away from my PC and I have the dongle plugged into the back of the PC. I never encountered any static or dropouts. This is a great budget option for adding Bluetooth to a modern computer. The only downside is that it's using stock drivers provided by Windows. I wanted to also use my PC as a Bluetooth Speakerphone for my Android phone. The default drivers provided by Microsoft don't fully support the Speakerphone option. I wasn't able to find any precise drivers from the manufacturer. So it didn't work for this purpose. I'm not taking away any stars because this is a unique use case, but I felt that I'd mention it anyway.

Works great for my purposes. I made a minor mistake in ordering the wrong replacement Laptop with less bells and whistles, and obviously no bluetooth.So, I too a chance on the Micro adaptor 4.0 USB, and I' thrilled.It works great for my purposes which is adding basic BT capability to a very simplified laptop.All is good!Can't beat the price. It's great.

So far so good.
No problems installing it, just plug it, set it and forget it .. . . OK, granted it was Windows 10 that took care of everything. But from an Acer PC with no BT to enjoying BT headphones right away, very happy.

Returned. Amazon Prime is great. Poor instructions even with the accompanying DVD and software. The device may work fine if you already know the steps to make it recognize other Bluetooth devices.

works but not plug and play with Windows 10 64 bits
I managed to make this work with windows 10 64 bits but this was not plug and play; this turned out to be several hours of frustration before success.It included plugging the dongle, installing the software, installing several drivers from the internet, computer crash, restoring computer to earlier setting, pairing device, restarting computer an uncountable number of times and finally having a bluetooth that works.
