ResinObsession Toobies For Resin Casting QTY 20 is great for creating holes in your resin without drilling holes. Just embed Toobies in the last pour of resin casting. Once cured, clean any resin that seeped into Toobie. Detailed Instructions: Pour your resin into half of the mold and let it cast. Cut your toobie to the exact size that you need it to be (the length of the mold--be careful not to cut the toobie too short--you want a nice, tight fit) and place it in the mold where you would normally have drilled your hole. The toobie will move around a little when you pour your 2nd cast of resin into it. To offset that, you have two options: you can use a drop of resin to secure the toobie where you want it and when that is cure or sticky you can pour your second half of resin into the mold or you can use a drop of super glue to secure the toobie in place. When your entire piece is cast and out of the mold you will end up with a hole in your cast that is perfect for a bead and you didn't even have to drill a hole!

Good idea, but only super thin metal wire fits through these. If you try to thread thin stretchy cord through, it doesn't work.
