XIBERIA V10 PC Gaming Headphones Over-ear USB Headset with Microphone Volume Control - Red

To start off, this is a 25$ headset, or what i paid at time of purchase. So i am basing my review within the price bracket.In my experience, I am also comparing these to the HyperX Cloud II gaming headset from my experience thus far.For me i have a smaller head, so they are comfortable. For a company to produce a headset for this price, we would expect corners to be cut in order to save cost for the consumer. We know this. However I was pleasantly surprised on the build quality. The plastic is not a high quality polymer. Not expected given the price bracket. They have weight from which is the speakers, more on that later.. Is nice. The headband is a nice soft material along with the earphones. There is dual steel cables that hold the spring to the headband, which is nice to see on a headset of this caliber. Also the dual bands around the top are spring steel inside a polymer tube housing above the headband, also a perk. The microphone is a steel, fully adjustable microphone.The aesthetics of the headphones look good, not a typical "ugly looking" headset for gaming. So I would encourage the company to keep this style of headset, as it is more attractive and professional looking despite the price.Sound quality: the speakers were better then i expected. The speakers capture Low frequency's (bass) better then the HyperX. however the HyperX sounded cleaner in the aspect that the lows could be separated well from the high's. These were slightly Muddy sounding when compared. The overall sound was great! (focusing on the gaming part) It has a wide range, but heavy on the Bass. So if you use these for music, bad choice unless more Bass is your forte. I was satisfied with the headphones in all aspects until I tested the microphone. The audio is not bad on the pair i have tested. The problem was: the microphone had to be nearly up to my mouth for it to pick up my voice. Granted i do not have a strong voice. On the HyperX Cloud II i did not have this issue. The Cloud II has a volume button for the microphone as well, which helps in its case. These have no microphone volume attached at all. My system is a windows 10 computer. These use USB which is all digital signal, so no variables other then the operating system. I was able to fix this problem, by going into control panel, in sound settings, adjusting the microphone sensitivity up to 100 on the scale.THE PRO'S:Build qualityComfortsound qualityCONS:Microphone has bad pickup out of the box.VERDICT:For the price i wouldn't buy another headset. With Windows settings, the microphone had to be tweaked. After, problem solved. So out of the box i expected the microphone to pick up my voice at a reasonable level, but it didnt deliver. And thats why i docked this one star.

Not a bad alternative coming from a Logitech G930, but has some flaws. The cord seems a little short, and the "Control Pad" is pretty high up towards the headset. Feels durable enough, maybe a little cheap on the top plastic.Good weight, wore them for about 9 hours straight, with minimal bathroom/drink breaks in-between and didn't get a headache or neck problems like I would with other headsets.Not a fan of Wired, as I like to get up and stretch or move around without having to take my headset off, but looking for a cheaper replacement, this was a decent choice. Was going to return these for a cheaper headset, but after looking at them I figured I would give them a try, was not a bad choice to keep them.Overall i'm happy with the purchase and would recommend these to anyone looking for a reasonably priced headset.

Hurts my ears anyways. It seems Xiberia did not put enough thickness in the padding as the drivers are really big which make the around the ear design flawed by a lack of padding. A simple 5 mm bit of extra padding would perfectly solve this. I dont have the issue with the K5 headset for about 7 dollars more, but have found a way to add the thickness with cotton under the pads to give the extra offset since i dont want to return these. These are a goof half pound lighter than the K5 model and sound almost as good. Fix the ear pads and it will get 5 stars.

Okay these headphones are great and all but you have to turn off the EXTREMELY annoying lights EVERY SINGLE TIME that you put them on. Why??Minus 2 stars from my previous review. Originally 5 stars but i seriously cannot handle this constant headset lights and disabling them constantly. They should come with either software to disable them by default or a switch instead of a button. Or they should remember their previous state so they stay off when you plug them back in.It is so constantly annoying and it's such a shame that they do that. I would return them just because of that if i wasn't past the 30 days by now.

This is the second headset from this company I have gotten. I really like the comfort over the ears. and the sound is incredible. I like the usb connection makes things so much easier. I could do without the lights on the ear pieces or on the microphone but still a really great headset. My first one for some reason recently started to have slight problems like a short or something. I contacted their customer service and even though I bought the original about a year ago, they were super helpful and replaced the headset for free. I can't complain about that, nor should anyone else. I mean I game every day so for it to last 1 year before showing any signs of wear and then they took care of it and replaced it. I am a super happy customer and I would recommend this headset to others as a matter of face I have.

Amazing headset, especially for the price. When it says "Noise Cancelling"... boy they are not kidding. My girl gets mad from time to time because she's hollering for me, and I can't hear a thing. (not always bad for me, hehe) I like how you can turn on and off the LED lights. I'm very rough on headsets and these are holding up better than any other headset I've bought and I've bought $200 headsets too. The only reason I gave 4 stars, is because the microphone, in my opinion, has a bit of a hollow sound. I would absolutely buy these again.

The headset didn't work on my ps3 which is why I bought it. It does however work on my ps4. For the price you pay, it's a good set of headphones. Not much you can adjust but they're incredibly comfortable. The sides light up, and the mic tip glows red when live. Kinda neat little added bonus. The packaging came in a soft cloth bag inside a small box. All in all, it's worth 30 bucks for your PS4.

Ich habe mir das Headset zum Musik hören, spielen und Teamspeak/Skype etc. gekauft.Das Headset war in einem Beutel verpackt, welcher sich in einem Karton befand (der sich wiederum in einem Versandkarton befand, mit Pappe gepolstert). Ich denke aus Perspektive der Produktsicherheit ist das in Ordnung, aus ökologischer Sicht gefiel mir das sehr gut, da nicht Unmengen an Plastik-Verpackung an fielen. Bin aber nicht sicher, ob das die Originalverpackung war oder ob es schon einmal zurück gesendet wurde.Zum Headset selbst: Im Vergleich zu meinem Vorherigen Headset (Sennheiser PC 151) ist das Headset relativ schwer, aber es ist eben auch ein (offener) over-ear Kopfhörer. Das Kabel ist sehr dick ummantelt, was eine hohe Sicherheit gegenüber Kabelbruch andeutet. Kann ich aber nicht beurteilen, weil ich das Headset nur eine Woche lang in Gebrauch hatte. Die LED Beleuchtung der Kopfhörer außen hätte es für mich nicht gebraucht, kann man aber sogar an einem Schalter am Kabel aus schalten (wird allerdings bei jedem neuen hoch fahren des Pcs wieder an geschaltet)Der Ohrteil umschließt mein Ohr komplett (Durchschnittsohr ;)). Allerdings ist das Headset für meinen ziemlich kleinen Kopf etwas zu groß auch bei minimaler Größeneinstellung, so dass es nicht richtig sitzt und denke ich deshalb bei längerem Tragen auf die Ohrmuschel drückt. Die Abschirmung gegenüber Tönen höherer Frequenz von außerhalb ist ziemlich gut, da hört man nichts, tiefere Töne hört man schon. Geräusche/Musik, die vom Headset wieder gegeben werden hört man außerhalb etwas, aber (bei normaler Lautstärke) nicht gravierend. Die Soundqualität bei Spielen, Musik und VoIP fand ich sehr gut, da gibt es, insbesondere bei diesem Preis, nichts zu meckern. Die Abschirmung bedingt auch, dass man sich beim Reden sehr seltsam an hört (wie wenn man sich die Ohren zu hält), was zumindest für mich nach dem anderen Headset gewöhnungsbedürftig war.Das Mikrofon ist allerdings nicht sonderlich gut. Erstens hört man sich laut der anderen Mitglieder in TS und Co ziemlich "metallisch" an, zweitens ist es leider nicht gegen Umgebungsgeräusche ab geschirmt, so dass auch mit unterschiedlichen Einstellungen entweder mein Atem oder Tippen auf der Tastatur für andere zu hören war (oder eben nur noch Teile vom Gesprochenen). Auch von ein-zwei Rückkopplungen war die Rede.Da ich das Headset wegen des für mich schwachen Tragekomforts nur eine Woche lang getestet habe, kann ich über die Haltbarkeit nichts sagen. Soweit sieht es eigtl. solide aus.Insgesamt ist das Teil für den Preis denke ich vollkommen in Ordnung, da kann man auch in Bezug auf Mikroqualität vermutlich einfach nicht mehr erwarten. Ein Punkt Abzug für Tragekomfort (wie gesagt vermutlich subjektiv wegen Kopfgröße) und Mikroqualität, bleiben 3/5.

Dein dem Kauf (2016) vielleicht 20 Stunden insgesamt genutzt. Miserabel ist kein Wort. Alles löst sich an dem Teil auf. Sound ist 3 Sterne wert.

After 1year it's still working but the black cover around the ears is peeling of and sticking on my face

Das Headset ist für meine Tochter, und der Freude nach zu urteilen, mit der sie online kommuniziert, scheint er seine Mission zu ihrer Zufriedenheit zu erfüllen.Ich kenne mich nicht gut aus, fand bei dem laienhaften Test, den ich nach Erhalt durchgeführt habe, den Klang sehr gut. Meine Tochter wird prima von allen Onlinefreunden verstanden. Das Mikro scheint also auch o.k. zu sein.Bei meinem kurzen Test hatte ich bald einen unangenehmen Druck an den Ohren. Wundere mich, wie meine Tochter das aushält. Habe jedoch keine Ahnung, ob das bei preislich vergleichbaren Headsets anders wäre.Also für meinen unkundigen Anspruch Finger hoch und nur einen Stern Abzug wegen des Drucks auf den Ohren.
