Great soup maker
Great soup maker and easy to clean. Far easier than doing it all in a pan and blending it yourself.

Super soup
This is an excellent soup maker.Makes soup in 19 min.We have used it at least once a week since we bought it 3 months ago, sometimes more. It's really good for trying to eat less processed foods, but is still really convenient as it's so fast. Also a great way to use up veg that is past bed - so good for reducing food waste too!We love the the saute function (remember to put oil on the bottom as instructed whether or not you are sauteing or it will stick - when this happened to us we cleaned it with cif and it came off), and that you can add things that you forgot without restarting. As it's so good at blending, we don't even need to peel the potatoes or carrots - just roughly chop them and pop them in.Would thoroughly recommend, very glad we bought this.

Great soup maker
I love the quality of this soup maker and how easy it is to use. I'm no chef, but even I have managed to turn out some great-tasting soups, much to the delight of my family! It's fairly easy to clean as well. The only negative is that whatever you do, don't try to pick it up by the handle - even when empty. I found out to my cost (twice) that you end up with just the top half in your hand and the bottom half on the floor. Luckily it still works, but I would have appreciated a warning. The handle should only be used to lift the lid!

IT WORKS
Had this soup maker now for a few months and used it often. It is a truly remarkable and useful kitchen addition, especially if you are short of time. I have used a multitude of different veggies ,even stir fry veg and any needing using up. After the cooking (which is rapid) you can add all kinds of herbs and spices to suit your taste. I would recommend it to all levels of kitchen skills.

Excellent soupmaker, very good value
The does a lot for the money. It has a serrated blade which makes for velvet smoothness, and a non stick interior. The sautée function is lid-off which in my opinion is much preferable to lid on as you can stir and see how you are doing. It has a valuable delay timer and a keep warm function. My only gripe is that you cannot select Keep Warm, it's an automatic function once the soup cycle is finished, but if you open the machine e to xheck seasoning, the keep warm function cancells. (I would love to gear that I sm wrong about this, but I can't make it work once the lid is off)I bought it to replace my Morphy Richards Perfect Sense which has been great, but now sells for £129 which is just too much for me.The Soup Chef Pro is every bit as good or better, looks more stylish and costs almost £60 less .

*Souperb* Makes delicious soups without all the fuss in 19 minutes!
Rarely do gadgets or devices live up to the sales hype, but the *Drew & Cole* soup maker is a sheer wonder! You can chop your veg in 5 minutes, add stock and herbs, or save time by using pre-chopped frozen veg - whatever you decide you'll have 4 or 5 portions of real flavorsome, healthy soup in about 20 minutes! Lunch for a working week done-and-dusted and I worked out it costs about £1.50 for ALL those portions. Given the cost of living crisis, a decent tin of soup costs anything from 80p to £1.50. In the long run, homemade soup is fresher, healthier, and way cheaper!
