i.Trek Replacement Bracket cradle Holder for Garmin Nuvi 50LM (Black)

This is exactly what I was looking for! I have one Garmin Nuvi 50LM that I use in two different cars. I purchased two Garmin Portable Friction Mounts (which work great, BTW)  Garmin Portable Friction Mount - Frustration Free Packaging , but I needed a second bracket so each mount could have its own bracket, making it easier to transport the GPS unit itself, sans bracket, between the two cars. (OR...you could just buy this combination mount and bracket -- which wasn't available when I first purchased my portable friction mount:  GA-OEFM+BKT50: Portable Friction Mount & Bracket for Garmin Nuvi 50 50LM )Frustratingly, Garmin doesn't sell the individual bracket by itself; they make you buy a whole suction cup mounting kit for $25. That's ridiculous. I didn't NEED all that other stuff; I only needed the bracket, because without the bracket, the portable mount doesn't work. This product allowed me to purchase THREE brackets for the price of that one suction cup mounting kit, and get what I wanted, and not have to pay for what I didn't want. So that's exactly what I did. Now I have a couple of spares in case I lose or break one of the other brackets. Great product; very much appreciated. Anyone with a Garmin Nuvi 50LM will be satisfied with this product.

I lost the old clip somewhere, somehow. This replacement looks and (so far) behaves exactly the same. I use it with a weighted base and can place the Garmin Nuvi 50LM anywhere on the dash or center console where convenient. I use it in rental cars, 4 days a week and this one has lasted for a couple of weeks now without problems.

Wish I could find the real Garmin product. This one is just a bit small between pegs so you really have to wrestle it into place to get it to hold the garmin then it does not satisfyingly snap in place. Hold feels very tenuous like a good bump would jolt it right out of the clip.

Fits my Nuvi 50LM like that is what it was made for. Oh, wait, that is what it was made for. So it does its job perfectly. What else can I say, it is what it says it is.

Quality is good

This bracket is not as smooth a mount has the original bracket was. However I am satisfied with the purchase. The price was great considering the price of best but bracket.
