Sports Research Sweet Almond Oil by SR Naturals ~ 100% Natural Oil for Hair, Skin, Scalp and Aromatherapy (16oz)

I've been using this for a couple weeks now. I *love* it. I got it b/c I'd been using "pretty" lotions, like from B&BW etc, and while they smell incredible, don't seem to do much by way of moisturizing. I never used to worry about the look of my body skin (I still have acne so I'm more concerned about my face!!) but I've noticed since I had kids 12 years ago, and as I've gotten older, my skin has gotten stretch marks and just doesn't look as nice as it used to. It's starting to look crepey and just..old. Like.."mom" skin. I decided it would be smarter to look into "good" things for my skin. I don't need to use a lot, and it's oily, so makes my skin shiny when I put it on, but it doesn't mess w/my clothes, and while it "looks" greasy, it's not. My skin feels nice, and I've noticed just in the short time I've been using it that my skin looks better. I'll continue to buy this.

I really like this product. I use it in the morning before I apply foundation. My skin has gotten drier over the years and this soaks right in. It does not cause my makeup to appear greasy on my skin. I do not break out with acne, either. It has a pleasant light smell and is not a thick oil. I have another brand of Sweet Almond Oil that is thicker and I like this one better. I love the fact that its NON GMO and does not contain Hexane. Thank you for a good product.

Love that it comes with the pump to avoid getting oil all over. And love that it has no scent which is perfect for me with chemical/fragrance sensitivity. Works great for body moisturizer though sometimes doesn't soak into my skin too well so gets on clothes but maybe I just need to use a little less...otherwise love it.

I've used other brands of sweet almond oil and this is one of my favorites. The fact that it is non-GMO, not tested on animals and hexane free is a huge plus. I'm health conscious, eat healthy and I'm very careful what products I use on my skin and hair. The oil itself is somewhat darker in color (golden as opposed to pale yellow) compared to other brands I've used, however based on some research it appears the reason is because this oil is less refined. That is a good thing. I prefer unrefined oils, less processing. Almond oil is a wonderful moisturizer on it's own and as an ingredient in DIY body butter. As for the plastic bottle, it is marked #1 Pete which is generally regarded as safe. Ideally, I would like to see it packaged in a dark glass bottle to ensure complete safety. Perhaps that's something Sports Research would consider.

I like the oil, it pours well, and it hasn't turned rotten, even though I've had it for months. I alternate between using almond and coconut oil (and sometimes a coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter blend). I know some people blend almond and coconut oil, but I personally dislike the combo. Because I alternate between three products, this size container has lasted me ages and isn't even half used. If I ever run out (or it finally goes bad), I'll be buying this brand again. I might look for a smaller container, but for folks who use it more than once a week, this size container is probably great!

This oil is light and it did not weigh my hair down.

I absolutely love this Almond oil. I make lipbalm with this oil. I like that it is all natural and it's organic and with no chemicals. Now I just ordered a bottle and the date was expired since September. I plan on ordering again and hopefully I won't get an expired one this time.

It has a nice texture, it leaves my skin soft. It's a nice oil for the price. Doesn't dry my skin

its just meh. i used it for my hair, as a carrier oil. i never noticed any improvements in my hair. but the oil itself felt like it was good quality. great oil. not for me.

This oil seems pure enough to me. Read a criticism that said this oil was diluted with a carrier oil. Really? Prove it. I have a number of skin sensitivities (including to some oils, but NOT almond) and I use it daily without issue; ordered some in mid-2017 and now just finishing the bottle. I use it directly on my skin as well as as a carrier oil in organic moisturizers I make for personal use. I am re-ordering my second bottle now. Saw that negative review just in passing, and I would really like to know more. How can that critic judge this oil to be mixed with a carrier oil? I certainly can NOT tell.

This came in tact and no leaks. It has no smell and is very soft on the skin. I bought it to mix with my daughter’s baby oil to dilute the strong smell of the baby oil (which uses safflower oil as the base) and it mixes perfectly and totally softens the scent of the other oil.

I regularly use this product for my son's hair and skin. I also enjoy using this for making lotions, lip balms and creams.
