Ricola Good Night Instant Herb Tea 7-Ounce Can

Tastes good and helps me fall asleep

I have a stress problem and a sleep problem.Now, I'm not an "alternative medicine" guy, my discovery of this was related to the cough drops Ricola makes. Ricola uses Linden blossom, and several other herbs, in cough drops.That's how I found out about its stress relieving ability. I'd get sick with a cold and become less stressed out. Every. Time. Long process of research and elimination later (32 herbs and a ton of unscientific observations on the web about each one...) I discover Linden blossom, and that this tea is packed with the stuff.And it works, it really works.This is an excellent tea for both sleep and relief from stressful living.The instructions are basically "2-3 Teaspoons and hot water" I generally add about 3.5 - 4. It's not knockout juice, but if you haven't been sleeping very well, you should probably plan on sleeping an hour or two more the first time you drink this. You can wake up easily from this, but it's really deep sleep.Once I drink it, I pretty much have to be asleep within 30 min. Later than that and its stress reduction effect seems to wear off.It seems to affect a whole night's sleep by calming you as you fall asleepDrinking it seems to improve my overall sleep patterns, even if I am not drinking it every night.My head touches the pillow and I'm asleep... every night!

Ran across this when we lived overseas. Makes for a nice evening cup of tea especially on a cold night. Wish it were cheaper though. It is a bit overpriced in the US market compared to what we paid for it in Europe.

I love this tea. It is so soothing. It is similar to an herbal lemon honey tea. I love drinking it when I'm sick and even when I'm not since it tastes so refreshing and makes me feel warm inside. I would highly recommend this tea as it is instant and only requires about 15 seconds of stirring. No need to wait for a tea bag to steep!

I bought this for my mom because it is one of her favorite teas.

It unfortunately has very little flavor. It's quite sweet and I can smell a hint of lavender and orange, but there's barely any actual flavor to the tea. It is extremely expensive at $20/can, but I knew that going in. I just wanted to try it, but I won't be getting it again. Does is work? The jury is still out on that, too.

I take it on trips and when I need to fall asleep fast. It really works!

I first used this while sick and traveling in Switzerland. Was so glad to find it here (not available in stores here!). Just got over a cold and this was so soothing and relaxing before going to bed. It really helped to calm down my cough so I could fall asleep. Love it!
