XHOSE Pro Extreme 50' Expanding Hose

I am handicapped and cannot lift heavy objects. A 50 ft. regular hose is difficult for me to carry and pull to locations I need to water. The Xhose is really a great way to reduce carrying and pulling on a hose to water things! The negative I give it is for the somewhat difficult time I have screwing on all the different ways you could attach the supplied adapter. If you have arthritic hands or grip that is not strong, it may be difficult for you to fasten them so that there are no small leaks at the screwed on positions. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the product which is well made and will, I think, last fairly long itime if taken care of by following the instructions for draining and storing.

Light weight, easy to use. Been using these hoses for a few years now. Just don't drag these type hoses across sharp rocks, corners of cement and don't leave outside in sun and it will last for years. I gave it 4 stars because of the outer sheathing; it should be thicker, if it was thicker I believe the hose would last longer than 2 to 3 years. Plus if you leave outside they tend to walk away. Popular hose that has been stolen from my front yard.

They all claim to be improved, but this one sure looks and feels no different. I will admit that it is still working as advertised so far, but am worried about the quality of construction, since the metal parts and tubing do not seem to be different than the old ones which gave up within a season or two. But, time will tell.

I like this hose because it is not cumbersome to use as other hoses. This my third Xhose. Other Xhoses spring leaks after a while. I hope this Hose lasts me a while longer.

I previously bought another brand of these expandable hoses, but they failed within the first week (hose fitting came off). So I bought Dap Xhose Pro Extreme thinking that the ends would be more secure to the hose. I day I received the hoses I was in my back yard and had 2 50Ft lengths together.I pulled the hose in a straight pull and one of the fittings popped off.It's a great Idea, it just needs a better design.

Well this design of expandable hose lasted a little over 2 yrs of easy use (light watering and gardening) before blowing out like one of the cheaper models advertised on tv did (6 mos). I still think for $45 it should last longer than 2 yrs of light use. I won't waste my $$ on another one at this price.

Well we hooked it up and no leaks like the other brand we brought, I will return in a few months and let you know how it is working I say that because our last two (not the same brand) got leaks within the first few weeks. hopefully this one wont.Update well the hose is still working great, so we are going to purchase a 75ft for our front yard it seems to be better constructed than the other brand we purchase hopefully it will work great for a long while.

This hose is no better than the $13 one as all these types of hoses are short lived....no matter how careful you are with them as I was.The warranty is worthless as it is more trouble than its worth to return so forget that.Consider this a disposable item and accept it as that......since I like the concept and convenience I purchase the least expensive one and dispose of it and get another one.....who knows the cheaper one may last longer than the pro extreme which is total bunk as a more durable item.
