Didn't seem like a Custom Fit
When I placed my order I immediately received a reply that contained instructions of how to measure my book and a link to a video for details.Now the title of the product only mentions 2 dimensions "up to 6' x 9". My book was 6 x 9 x 1 and I provided that information to the vendor (who was adamant about making these "To Order").But the product I received seemed pre-made to fit a thicker book leaving me a little overhang (see Pic). I will be able to eventually use this on another book of a thicker size but this wasn't a custom fit for the book I intended to use it for. The leather is soft and feels like it will last like leather and on that level I'm not disappointed. But for just under the $50 price, I expected a cleaner fit.

Now my favorite (but ugly) paperbacks look great on my desk.Be sure to watch his video on how to properly measure the book. And as he warns, measure the book yourself! DO NOT trust the posted dimensions on Amazon books. So glad that I waited until I had the book in my hands and measured it, as the dimensions that were listed on Amazon were off by half an inch.I noticed in the description: "leather comes from a 6th generation tannery located 25 miles west of Venice in the Italian Alps. The English cowhides used come from unbranded and more humanely treated cows." Yeah, I know leather is leather, but this made me feel better about my purchase.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT product. My cover fits like a homemade glove! I had an out-of-the ordinary sized journal and after sending exact measurements to vendor, I was totally scared when I received the leather case BUT when I placed it on my journal is was tooooooo perfect. Thank you!

This is the perfect fit for my need. Please pardon the pun. The irregular shape of my book makes for a difficult fit into any case, and the flexibility of this product allows for unusual needs. The fact that it is made out of Italian leather is just a bonus at this point. Do not miss this deal!
