Love these rods. Have had one for years and it's been dropped, stepped on, shut in my tailgate, and overall just abused and it still performs flawlessly! Bought this one for my wife as she really liked mine.

Nice sturdy rod
Nice sturdy rod, looks and feels good. The Ecooda reel I purchased along with this rod did not seat tightly in rod reel seat, so I shimmed it and now sits tightly. Am happy!

Good value, not for all applications
I've had this rod for 2 seasons now, and have tested it in a variety of conditions and applications.It may be well suited for cranks and other reaction baits, but it lacks the sensitivity for soft plastics and jigs. The tip is too soft and does not transmit the bite into the handle like others rod will. The actual blank of the rod ends about 6 inches before the tip, and is made of a glow-in-the-dark plastic on my model.I would not recommend this rod if you like to bottom fish or use soft plastics, however it is a very durable rod for catfish and trolling. I usually let my little brother use this one when we go out.
