Ordered these longer as the supplied ones were going to be too short. While using the cables they Key board and mouse stoped working. Took a while but the computer kept turning off the USB devices do to excess current draw. At first thought the KV switch was not powered correctly. Checked it and no problem. Then substituted the twin cable that I received and it fixed the problem. Then rechecked the cable and was not functioning. Cable is on it's way back and a replacement is on it's way.... Luck of the draw I guess....Update: Cables working at full 4K and the USB is now functioning as it should. Very happy with CKL’s response to the field cables only took a few days and arrived as expedited shipping via UPS. Thank you to Amazon and CKL....Update2: second cable received and the KVM is 100%. Thank you CKL....

There are 4 extra pins around the single horizontal pin which will not allow it to mate. Picture does not show them.

I ordered and paid for two 9.8 foot cables, received 6 foot cables, which I never noticed until I actually had to use one.. Label indicates 3 meter cable, measures just over 6 feet. One cable screwed up my laptop HDMI port, so now I can't use the KVM switch I bought on that PC.... Ugh...
