Tucks in nicely, very reliable, and works as advertised
I've tried countless adapters, and most of you reading this have had disappointing experiences with these things. The adapters I've tried are the ones that use a length of cable, where usually the cable/housing fails, or the adapter housing electronics fail - or both, often within a week or two of use. This one has been working for months now, and has survived way longer than any of the other adapters I've tried - I'm a bit surprised by this. It does not show any signs of wear and tear either. A few idiosyncrasies include;1. when the headphone 1/8 is rotated, the sound in one ear sometimes cuts out - rotating it back fixes it - this will only happen if you use headphones with a 90 degree 1/8 jack.2. you may have to flip the adapter 180 deg. to get it to put out sound - the way you insert it into your phone may require you to try out which orientation works best.3. the power jack's grip on your power charger cord is not the strongest - can easily pull free, which may be a good thing if you drop your phone!4. Can crackle a bit if you get a call or a text message....5. on my iPhone, I have to remove the entire adapter to hear my voicemail messages. This is a worthwhile trade off for having an adapter that actually works! The best part is, this adapter is RELIABLE! And will fit most cases that are not massively protective. When this one inevitably breaks (?), I'll likely order another one, just based on my good experience thus far.

A great travel companion
I needed a way to plug in my headphones while still being able to connect my phone to power while on the plane. With the new iPhone’s stupid idea to remove the headphone plug, it is now a battle of which one is more important – power or entertainment. Well, entertainment only lasts as long as the power, so I guess power always wins. BUT with this adapter, now I can have both. I love the small and sleek design. There are many cable-type adapters out there, but this one connects directly and hugs my phone, adding barely any bulk to it at all. I can use my regular headphones and power up my phone simultaneously. My phone charges at pretty much the same rate that it would if it didn’t have the adapter connected, and my headphones’ quality is not compromised in the least. A lifesaver if you travel a lot.

3.5 mm side works for audio, other side just for charging
Well I got this to use my 3.5 mm Bose earbuds and the 3.5 mm input side works fine (for music but not for talking on phone as it did state.} However, the other side, standard for iPhone 11 earbuds, only works for charging, not audio. It did not claim to, but also did not say it didn't which many would expect. The little box it came in was nice--better than a cheapo ziploc baggy.

one piece design dongle is more rugged than corded dongles
I often rely upon reviews of products, prior to my purchasing them, as well as the number of reviews and how recent the reviews were placed. When I considered this charger/earphone lightning 3.5 dongle adapter, I was cautious, as there were few reviews and it appeared to be a new product. However, upon ordering it, I became disappointed, when I had ordered two and only one could be fulfilled, at that time.I have received the new lightning dongle and it fits securely to my phone. I have received no error messages and it activates charging with my lightning cord immediately. The sound clarity with my earphones in the 3.5 socket is clear and crisp. When I upgraded my phone, the new phone came with the lightning plug earphones, while my old phone had the 3.5 earphone plug. At that time, I ordered two ‘lightning dongles’, one so I could charge my new phone while listening to music on the lightning earphones, and the second so I could use my old phone just as an MP3 music player for my stereo system, while keeping the phone charged. One lightning dongle was a one piece adapter for lightning plug earphones and the other was a corded 3.5 adapter. At that time, I could not find a one piece 3.5 adapter, so I accepted the corded version. They both worked fine for my purposes. I also ordered a corded 3.5 earphone adapter for my wife, who still prefers ‘ear-hooked’ earphones with the 3.5 plug, when she exercises and walks in the AM. My wife broke her corded adapter within a couple months. She wanted to order a second, but found many reviews describing corded earphone adapters malfunctioning soon after purchase. So I gave her my 3.5 corded adapter, while she re-ordered her preferred corded adapter, and I ordered for myself this Feiya (by Chooby) one piece 3.5 lightning earphone adapter. I searched diligently until I found this one piece (non-corded) 3.5 adapter. As stated, this adapter was new, had few reviews, but I went for it. I am so pleased with the one piece 3.5 adapter. I have over 10 gig of music on my old phone and hook it up to an old stereo system at our remote mountain cabin (no internet, no cell and little radio reception). I can listen for hours, while the phone continues to charge, with this adapter. BTW, my wife broke the corded adapter, that I loaned to her, within a week. I had wanted to order two of the Feiya one piece adapters, but only one could be fulfilled. I notice, as I write this, that the one piece 3.5 adapter is out of stock…..a pity. I will have to wait and keep checking for when it is back in stock. I definitely want another one for my wife.In my humble opinion, I feel it is a design weakness of the corded dongles, that the cord is too fragile for its typical wear and tear, as the phone/corded adapter is often used during exercise. The one piece (non-corded) is definitely a better design and more rugged.

Did not work for me
This did not work for me, the sound was constantly clicking off...wiggling it in the the socket was effective sometimes, but it was frustrating. I loved the compact style, I just wish it had worked ☹️

It doesn’t work at all
It doesn’t work. At all. Unfortunately I didn’t try to use it until after the return window had closed or I would have returned it.

Cant use with phone calls
It doesn't work if there is a phone call good for head phones for listening but not for phone calls

Great...while it lasted.
Bought this back in December. Worked like a charm up until a few days ago. Won’t play audio, it’ll only charge my phone which kinda negates the point lol. Not sure what happened since it just lives in my car; it didn’t get banged around in my purse or pocket. Loved it while it lasted, but not a durable, long lasting product. :/
