I mainly use face powder on my nose and chin to avoid them looking shiny. I usually apply this with the little make up sponge which accompanies many compacts. If it's in the wash, I use my fingers instead. I read a positive review of this brush and decided to give it a try as my sponges have seen better days. To my surprise, the powder went on much more easily and looked more natural. I only use liquid foundation a handful of times a year if I'm looking blotchy (usually when tired or stressed) as I've never put in the time to learn how to use makeup properly. I'm well into my fifties so it's unlikely that I'll ever become very interested in makeup but I like to look healthy and as if I've made some effort so, the next time I try liquid foundation, I'll try using this brush. Update - I was concerned to receive an email from the supplier suggesting I write a review and get a coupon for money off another product. This feels like bribery so I have knocked two stars off my original five star review. We have to be able to trust that amazon reviews are genuine and unsolicited or the entire concept becomes meaningless.

Absolutely delighted with this kabuki brush! I had reservations about applying my liquid foundation with a brush after 30 years of using my fingers, but I needn't have. I've recently been having issues with (what I thought was) uneven skin tone, and several foundations later, it was still uneven. After trying this brush, I realised that it was my method of application that was the problem all along! This brush really does give a flawless photo-finish, I wish I'd discovered it sooner! Good quality and comes in a little tube to protect the bristles and maintain the shape. Easy to wash and dry, and it hasn't shed any hairs, and I use it daily. I can highly recommend this little gem!

Without a doubt the best foundation brush I have ever used! The trick is to dab the foundation on with it rather that swirl and drag the brush across the skin. Looks like foundation has been airbrushed. Squeeze the foundation onto a pallet first, that is easier than using it directly from the tube. If you put it on the back of your hand, you will end up using more product. Would never use anything else now.

This is the first kabuki brush I've bought as I've been a dedicated user of the beautyblender, but I bought a new liquid foundation and wanted to try out the kabuki method. I'm very pleased. I was worried that using a brush to apply my foundation would highlight my very dry skin and end up looking patchy and streaky, but it didn't at all. The brush is very soft and dense, it didn't highlight my dry patches, and the finish it gave was beautiful. Having tried the same product with both the beautyblender and the brush, the brush results in lighter, more natural looking coverage, but I did find it difficult to blend into all the nooks and crannies of my face (under eye area, around the nose in particular) because the brush is pretty big. I think I'll be using this brush quite a lot for every day looks, but staying loyal to my beautyblender for when I want something a little more polished. Bearing in mind that I have no other kabuki brushes to compare it to, I would certainly recommend this brush, especially if you're attempting kabuki brush application for the first time and don't want to spend a fortune when you're not even sure if you like the technique yet! Plus, if you're a makeup beginner, this method is close to foolproof I think, so this product is a good bet!

I love the colour pink on this brush handle, I was not disappointed as colours can be different when you see it for real. The bristles are soft but put my liquid foundation on really well and most important even coverage. I have used sponges in the past but they absorbe a lot of foundation and you go through it a lot quicker. I have always used my fingers for the liquid. I am definitely impressed with the coverage this brush gives, Best Buy in a long time xx

Surprisingly soft and does the job very well. I have sensitive skin and worry about brushes being a little too harsh but this one is perfect for dabbing and swirling. Gets into all my facial nooks and crannies too! It doesn't seem to shed hairs either. I'm currently using this one for blending a cream primer and foundation. I like it so much, I'm going to buy another for my powder too as it feels so lovely on the skin. Really impressed with the quality, especially for the price. Great value for money.

Pennello ottimo. Non avevo mai utilizzato un pennello per stendere il fondotinta e con questo è stato semplicissimo sin dalla prima applicazione, con risultato perfetto ed uniforme. Ne consiglio certamente l'acquisto.

No absorbe producto y reparte uniformemente al tener mucha densidad. Es muy suave y llega bien a todas las zonas del rostro.Además se limpia bien.

j'aime beaucoup ce pinceau! Première utilisation avec une BB Créme et franchement ravie du résultat . Laver avant la 1ére utilisation avec un peu de shampooing doux, aucune perte de poils, il garde également sa forme bien plate après lavage . Un seul tout petit point négatif dur à rincer et éliminer le savon (donc il faut juste un peu de patience). Je recommande vivement.

Très beau pinceau. Je l'ai pris en rose et en noir. Le noir est classique et le rose est encore plus joli à mon avis. Très bonne qualité jusqu'à présent. Je l'ai lavé avant de l'utiliser comme indiqué et il n'a pas perdu de poils. Les poils sont très serrés et très doux. Je m'en sers pour le FDT liquide et c'est TOP TOP TOP. Aucune démarcation.
