Better at Transmission than others; use a micro USB wall charger or run it on battery to avoid noise.
I have two Bluetooth audio transmitter / recievers, both with apt-X (aptx) for supposedly better music. Both seem to work equally well as receivers. There are differences as transmitters.a. This WiseTiger WT-BTR2513 This is the size of a roll of scotch tape, bigger in diameter and much thicker than the thin Brightech, but still takes little space in a shirt pocket. This transmits farther than the Brightech, at least 45 feet through a floor into the end of the above room, though I only need 10 feet. If you transmit without an attached USB cable (which merely charges), the sound is fine (though the battery runs). If you transmit with a USB cable attached to you computer, YOU GET NOISE, and your music. If you transmit with a USB cable attached to 110 volt line (I use my phone charger), you get NO NOISE, just music. *So, if you get noise, use a micro-USB charger attached to the wall's 110 volts (the adapter knocks it down to 5 volts).b. Brightech BTX ultra This has no noise over a USB cable attached to a computer (must have better filtering). It transmits but 30 feet, which is the standard for these devices.I use both these, one as a transmitter off my computer and one as a receiver as I roam around a couple rooms or use a stationary bicycle.I now use the WiseTiger as a transmitter with my 110 volt micro-USB phone charger, so I get no static. And I use the Brightech BTXUL as a receiver sitting in my pocket with earbuds.Next, I will try an audio Bluetooth receiver WITH a VOLUME control.Receiver only devices get sold mostly as eithera. Bluetooth for your car which lacks bluetooth.b. Control for your cell phone, so you can also answer calls. This style also lets you control a CD player or some such device, so you can change tracks (good luck).I want to be several feet from my computer, so I can't change my computer's volume; but would like to change the volume with the Bluetooth receiver in my pocket.Wanting volume control doesn't distract from the above two transmitter / receivers, since none understandably have a volume control. If I were to buy just one of these, I'd probably buy the Brightech -- it's so cute (small).I bought 2 devices and would buy both these again, since the WiseTiger transmits better (I use it for transmission rather than reception, since I need one transmitter). These are such useful devices. I no longer trip over my 15 foot mini audio extension cord, disconnecting my audio, and connecting my cursing mouth.

Works great T/R unit it is a Perfect design, black yellow green, Perfect wise tiger control is on top, easy just left & right
I took it back my previews reviews, this TIGER, Transmit/Receiver works great fine, like I first mentions that I have 5 for me are good Bluetooth Headphones. First turn off disable all of them. All YOUR Bluetooth enable devices ALL. I MEAN ALL. If they are all good they've been picked up each other. & that's the reasons I first encountered. And you will not be able to connect any, any of them.PATIENCE, now turn on first unit you want to connect & continue the instructions how to be able to connect . Sooner Your all Bluetooth enable devices will be working with this wise tiger. Is really wise, it is a tiger & works super T/R excellent. Don't forget units works, by themselves, & funny they get confused like us, & we ran out of patience,

Good USB transmitter/receiver at a reasonable price
Reasonably priced Bluetooth receiver/transmitter I am using to go between my desktop computer located in my office and my Denon receiver approx 30ft away in the living room to play music. Audio quality is acceptable but there is some loss from the original. Tried using my Sony 400 disc cd changer as the source as well with similar relative quality degradation. Loss is not to a level that causes it to be unlistenable but slightly muddier than the source material.Unit offers better range than one from another manufacturer that I tried previously but being Bluetooth still has issues cutting out when objects are in the path of or people walk between trabsmitter and receiver but was able to maintain connection to the PC except and resume play in cases when the signal was interupted for extended periods (30 sec or more)The ability to run off of USB power instead of just the rechargable battery enabled me to utilize the power outlet on the rear of my receiver and leave it plugged in all the time without worrying about extra cords or it not being charged. One detail that would be helpful to improve would be better indication of the Tx and Rx positions on the switch which are difficult to see as they are raised molded letters that are the same color as the switch itself.Overall a good piece of hardware that is flexible as both a tranmitter and receiver.

Going wireless is awesome with this device
Device works as I expected, both as tx and rx. Audio quality is great and Bluetooth signal is reliable. I can hardly dectect any delay when listening audio from my TV in the same room. The device connects quickly and easily every time. The audio quality is good when using in the same room. Streaming distance is remain fairly good up to 30ft when plugged in with power. Signal starts dropping on battery power going beyond 20ft in distance, which is expected. It a very useful device to have if you're a fan of going wireless. It's a good value for what it does.

Versatile and high quality Bluetooth dual function device.
Great device for receiving or transmitting a Bluetooth signal . It works great with my TV and Sony Bluetooth headphones. They sync with up to 9 devices, so if one headset dies in the middle of a movie or a game, you can just turn on other headset and keep going. The sound quality is great and the is no delay. Only two things to note are the manual has the instructions backwards for the switch position and I wish the battery lasted longer. I get about 5 hours of transmit time. If the batteries lasted longer, I would have given it 5 stars.
